No Hey Byrn....
Monba might grind out a 9th place finish in the Derby... if he gets a perfect trip. At least Anak Nakel got the boot I guess. |

Edit: To answer myself - looks like Face the Cat should surface in the Rebel. |

I still like the #24 horse. |

you might want to wait until people actually start betting to decide if you see any value or not. |
How about Barclay Tagg and David Carroll with more (2 each) on this list than Todd Pletcher..

Not sure if you can.
His 3yo's are sinking like the titanic. Look at that list - the people who put it together believe Monba has his best chance. |

Out of curiousity, which Pletcher killer did you like for this year's Derby that you took him over Nick? Had to be Monba. Even Freddy was probably ashamed of you. |

How is it that Smooth Air and not Anak Nakel, is still in pool #2 ???
|
Quote:
Though - the game gives you points for wins and top 3 finishes in Gr 3 and ungraded 3yo stakes. I thought Pletcher would outscore Zito because of that - in fact - that might not even happen. |

I like both Elysium Fields and Colonel John at those odds.
I also think the the Paulo Lobo horse is better than some of these who are at much lower odds. |
Visionaire currently @ 36-1 looks the best value in this pool

I think you're being generous. |
How in the world can Giant Moon be 50-1?
Who would take that... Oh he ran poorly in the mess so he will certainly rebound? He was not that good before. There will be more than a few horses actually in the race on the day that will be 50-1. |
Quote:
If anyone wants to give me 100-1 on Visionaire, I'm in. |
Quote:
He's a slow horse, that needs a perfect set up, and then is only good enough if another rider blows it on another slow horse. Anyone who actually thinks he is remotely close to being a contender for this year's KY Derby is borderline ( if not completely ) clueless. Next. |
Quote:
He will be another horse that proves BTW wrong... He is not slow. He will beat up on a lot of these horses by the time everything is said and done. I put $5 on him today. Considering putting a little bit more on him. |
As if there was more proof necessary.
