Trouble listening to ATRAB?

Anybody else having a bit of trouble listening to ATRAB via internet this week? Alot of buffering, cutting in and out. Trying to determine if it's my computer or not.

Late Fires 05-25-2007 01:01 PM

I tried to listen on Wednesday and was "buffering" almost the entire time - I caught very little of the show.

Riot,

It's not your imagination, the stream has been really choppy (cutting out up to a minute in length) this week, and late last week too, if I remember correctly.

Spendabuck85 05-25-2007 01:23 PM

Same problem here especially Weds & Thurs this week

paisjpq 05-25-2007 01:24 PM

I listened for a few minute the other day and had the same issue....I just assumed it was my coomputer.

Kasept 05-25-2007 02:33 PM

Sorry folks.. All on our end thanks to issues with Comcast. Only came to our attention Wednesday.. May be better today. Let me know if it is... Better.. Worse.. Same..

Makes you wonder what they really mean when they say, "It's Comcastic!"

BillW 05-25-2007 03:03 PM

Steve,

14 seconds after connecting I hit the same "cut-out" symptom.

Same here :(

Riot 05-25-2007 03:54 PM

Arrrrrrgh ....... Noticably better than this past week, but I've missed 10-15 minutes of the first hour so far.

Why does the commercial content never cut out!?

northeastbound123 05-25-2007 04:14 PM

I called in with that problem on Wednesday and explained to whomever answered phone. Next day, Thursday, 5/24 ,I called in to report same problem to same fellow and he hung up on me.

Maybe it's just some black hole of non-transmission from Ft. Lauderdale ...

I brought the Sirius in from the car and played it while the internet feed was on, it was cutting in and out similarly ... doesn't make much sense to me.

deltagulf 05-27-2007 01:27 PM

my sirius was o.k. no problem

but internet feed was in and out.

Kasept 05-28-2007 04:34 AM

Comcast coming out Tuesday to work on the line.. It's their issue.. Sorry for the problems.. And Reese, sorry that Wayne hung up. He's alone working the board and the phone...

docicu3 05-28-2007 04:55 AM

Does anyone have any idea why I can't hear the show with my laptop anymore but my PC at home loads everytime.....they both have always had the same link in.

Did something change when you moved to 126 or does that have nothing to do with the internet feed?

DD

After the first 15 mins - the stream seems to have improved. :)

BillW 05-29-2007 05:58 PM

Made it all the way through with out any major interruption. I think they fixed it!

Hickory Hill Hoff 06-04-2007 03:38 PM

Getting Friday's show in the car (Sirius), but nothing over the internet.

golfer 06-04-2007 04:42 PM

I just sat down to listen to Sirius, it appears a live show is running now, probably has been for a while.

paisjpq 06-04-2007 04:52 PM

I purchased a boom box about 8 months ago so I can bring my radio inside with me.

I have one too...but it is currently in a storage unit as I am staying in a hotel for a while....it's a great thing though, my next vehicle will come with the unit installed....much easier than trying to find empty airspace when on a road trip....my friend and i had trouble on our recent trip, we had to keep adjusting the frequency to keep the signal clear.

Although it's certainly a little after the fact, Sirius.com has a function where you put in the zip code, and it tells you the best frequency for that area. Which reminds me, I plan on bringing my radio on my Cooperstown/Saratoga trip in July, I best check the website.
