You invite 12 horses to the QE II, you make it public that you have 11 probables and then 7 are entered?

You defend belmonts Thur-Fri card? This race has the only other 3 yr old turf filly G1 winner in it, as well as the American Oaks winner, what more can you ask for?
Tell me the other decent 3 yr old turf fillies that should be here? Consequence? Maram? The best one in the group is out w/ an injury.

Apples and oranges. The field was supposed to be 11 and I'm guessing the weather had something to do with it. Go back to reading the COurt Vision/Cowboy Cal article that includes how they're gonna run 7th and 10th in the Mile.

Wait, are you referring to Magical Affair as the best in the group? If so, that's rich.

Well Monied was supposed to come and for some reason the racing office at Kee thought that a couple of other Californians were coming.

Where did I say anything about the quality of the field? I think it's a damn good field.

Well Monied among five QE II dropouts
By Marty McGee

http://www.drf.com/news/article/108097.html

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The prospective field for the $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup on Saturday at Keeneland incurred a handful of 11th-hour defections when the connections of the California standout Well Monied were among several to decline invitations to the Grade 1 turf race Wednesday.

"Our filly got a little lung infection, and we've had to stop on her," said trainer Howard Zucker. "We're disappointed, because we were all excited about coming there. We've had to cancel about 100 reservations."

Well Monied, winner of the Grade 2 Honeymoon Handicap and runner-up in the Grade 1 American Oaks, will race again next year as a 4-year-old, said Zucker.

The connections of Acting Lady, Hooh Why, Mary's Follies, and Starlarks also turned down an opportunity to run in the 1 1/8-mile stakes. In the meantime, the connections of Lady Shakespeare, a Woodbine-based filly trained by Roger Attfield, accepted an invitation to boost the field back to seven.

I think she will run in the G3 Valley View since the "powers at be" at Keeneland didn't invite her.;)

I'm still waiting to hear who the "division leader" is who's hurt?

If Gozzip Girl loses this race I'm thinking it'll once again have a lot to do with her rider.

Last time you know I bet against her in a big way, today Im keying her in the pick 4... I dont think she can get beat today. The Matz filly is the best one I have saw, the Terronova is also ok.

Perchance do you mean Magical Affair who Gozzip Girl bent over at Belmont before her horrendous trip in the American Oaks? There's just no way you could even mention Magical Affair as being better than Gozzip Girl and probably Laragh as well.

But I agree that GG rolls today, if Kent is smart (big if) he'll take her right to the top and take the race to the rest of the field.

Im playing a little pick 4 there for 50 keying here and going 6-4-3 around her. Good luck Nick.

the best 3yo turf filly is......... Silver reunion.

RockHardTen1985 10-17-2009 04:09 PM

This is the reasson why before her last I was on here saying Gozzip Girl is just not that good, she is just not that good. I cant beleive I wasted 36$ on this horse.

I am perfectly willing to admit that I over-estimated her as well but that was another pretty crappy ride. It's a convenient excuse but KD should really go watch the film of how James Graham rode that race.

James Graham = best rider no one knows about.

If you thought she wasn't that good before the Garden City, why did you suddenly think she was good today?

Default, the group sucked and I thought she could at least get it done.

It was the same damn field as the Garden City.

Go back and check the threads if you think Im making it up.... I kinda liked Pull Dancer, but used Shared Account and Miss World, I hit the pick 3 for over 500$ that day. I cant explain it, maybe it was just the feeling I had. I did not like her at all that day and played 3 pick 3's trying to beat her, today I thought she would rebound.

I don't care what you did in the Garden City, my point is it's bad form to single the horse and then beat your chest about how you said all along that she wasn't that good.
