Coolnaharan, 10 years old, during his 76th start.
The race, at Kelso, was called the Snowy's Farewell. :( He fell to his death. He had been brought down once, had fallen twice before and had been pulled up a few times including his last out. His first race was on May 31st, 2003. 6 wins during that long career... I'm sure he's missed. Rest in peace. |

When I was writing this out I questioned it and then thought well I shouldn't judge and changed it to I'm sure he's missed cause I felt guilty. I'm not an owner, I don't know what it's like but yeah I do agree. If they seem healthy I think it's fine but man this poor horse... well at least he's not suffeing now, huh? |
