I should have put the song link up. The solfege was very small, and way down below...right? If I could have done it smaller, I would have. Somehow, you took it as having some importance. This is my point. You are attracted to this minor shyt. You obsess on minor shyt. Minor shyt annoys you. If someone fails to communicate a point, why must this be of importance to you? Nobody else cared. They passed over it like dog poo, but not you. Look how much we are talking about something which is, by all means, minor shyt. Why is this?.......It's because you are interested in minor shyt, sir.

I just like giving you a difficult time.

Your implosions are kind of funny.

Yea, I have to agree that it's the 1st impression I had. I've come to recognize that he is particularly good at dead pan delivery. It's difficult to make it in entertainment when most strangers 1st impression is almost always "annoyance." He could do better if he backs off some of the poor language. It's over the line. His audience will vary from loyal to luke-warm curiousity. I do not expect him to win over very many Conservatives (like yourself.) If you really love creativity, you'll spot some of it in him, but I agree that it is hardly pure. If he had to rely on people paying to see him, then he would not make it. Fact is that the internet is often based on getting people to watch something for free (while also having to watch a commercial etc.)

What I don't understand is how members of this forum could come up with 9 pages of names - some of them very good and not yet taken or reserved on the JC list, and NONE of them were accepted? And, I don't remember seeing anyone suggesting Spondulix. Personal opinion, of course, but It's a dumb name and the vast majority of people are not going to know it's antiquated meaning.

Exercise in futility calling on the troops to help name these horses.

Just because a prospective name entered into the online registry doesn't have a direct match DOESN'T mean it gets approved. People that have named horses will tell you it's a frustrating process. Both the JoBurg and Rockport had repeated declines. There are any number of reasons a name gets turned down, and as a perfect example, every one that had a South African/Afrikaans word involved in it, was rejected. Getting submissions in before Feb. 1 was the priority, and I always throw in an obscure word (Rampillion was one) to gaurantee a stop to the process. Just like Harold Carmichael was a working name for Lloydobler, Spondulix and Corybant can be temporary names until something more universally loved comes through.

There's a name suggested in the thread, and a variation of it, that is under review.

^^^^ Do you see what the VCU Basketball Team has done after each of these huge wins ? (now in the final 4.) It's called a cooking dance, and it comes from this LIL B guy's "stuff." Face it, it's working. They're a loose bunch....Violinist Eric Stanley (who is gunna be one of the most famous musicians this country has ever had) goes to VCU. We both would like for someone to name a horse "I COOK, I CHEF" in honor of the VCU's Basketball achievements this year. All we can do is ask.
