No. He was just a little tired from his trip to HK.

(Is that a good excuse and, if not, can you help me think of one).

The Cat will be back.

Yeah absolutely.

Can someone post results after Tess runs?

Thanks in advance. :)

It was just reported on TVN that Jockey Craig Newitt's father, Guy, was lost in a car accident.

He's planning to ride Light Fantastic in the Rokk Ebony Futurity.

So horrible.

terrible isn't it. I thought he was home on Light Fantastic too, would have been bittersweet.

I'm taking Joe Pride and Anatomica in 8B. The bad barrier draw is an obstacle, but Pride has been on fire. Putting her on top of Neroli.

Scurlogue Champ 02-28-2009 12:33 AM

Puke...

Anatomica was swamped.

I do. He'll love the ground.

Happy with Harris Tweed's win, disappointed with Culminate but I guess she didn't like the track.

I give up on today's card...

Hope Gai wins the Slipper with More Joyous

NoChanceToDance 04-04-2009 03:38 AM

Phelan Ready wins the Slipper.

At least I can say I've seen the Slipper winner in the flesh.

CSC 04-04-2009 10:23 AM

Sorry I didn't join in last night, a challenging card with the heavy going, great prices all night long if you could find them. Phelan Ready in retrospect was a logical overlay at 15-1 in NA betting, Beadman paying $98+ in a grade 1 unheard of...Overall I was ofer for the night until I managed to salvage a positive ROI with one bet. A good night down under of quality international racing!

Beadman, Williams suspended for Slipper rides
Racenet
Saturday, 4 April 2009

Jockeys Darren Beadman and Craig Williams have been suspended over separate incidents of Golden Slipper interference.

Beadman’s suspension is almost certain to rule him for the rest of the Sydney autumn carnival.

Can't wait for the Doncaster Mile. Please God let the connections of Slick NOT send him off to HK right after...
