I do not feel like restating my reasons again. Go back, read through the posts, and then you will see for yourself the reasons for keeping this topic going. The main argument is foreign policy.

Why does it really matter who or what we are debating or for what reasons? Having conversations on some deep issues is what is important.

Yes, I will vote. From the look of things, I will be voting for a Dem. I don't like any of the candidates who will be left standing come Nov, but I have to vote for the lesser of the evils. I am really hoping NC will go Dem.

Unfortunately, one thing you'll learn as you get older is that while being principled is always important, compromise is as well. Ralph Nader and Ross Perot are polar examples of how being tied in to an unelectable candidate can hurt your big picture.

I only hope you throw your passion for Ron Paul towards someone running in November. That's why candidates dropping out endorse someone. Saying they both suck and I'm not voting doesn't work

Because it will be probably be him against Hillary or Obama and I dislike those two (on where they stand - not race or gender :p ) even more. If a convicted pedophile was running, I would say that the chances are highly unlikely that I would vote for that person regardless of whether or not that person was the GOP candidate.

The only alternative to my dilemna is to avoid voting at all. I just can't do that, though... I believe that if one doesn't vote, then that person has no room to complain about the current state of affairs. Voting is really our only way to 'voice our opinion' and I think it's scary that more Americans don't care.

because I had an aquaintance in Houston who thought
they were funny. He really thought they were funny
because he believed they were true. 1980' thru 1990's

I found this stuff on various sites. Its really neat because
almost everything you read about him is so positive on
the internet. No wonder he has made so much money.

Paul, a Surfside obstetrician who won the GOP nomination in the 14th District runoff by defeating incumbent Rep. Greg Laughlin, said Wednesday he opposed racism.

No, I won't really disagree. We really do have some bad choices... While I think that being active in an election is very important, I actually thought about not voting myself because I knew Ron Paul didn't stand a chance. But, from my view, I really think it is important to keep McCain out of office. If you wonder why I don't like McCain, all you have to do is watch him singing the "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" tune to the Beach Boys melody. I love peace. Not war, not destruction. Peace. And the fact that the potential future president of the US sung that makes me sick.

his backtracking and crawfishing reminds me of huckabee when his 'banish aids victims to the farthest corner' remarks came back to haunt him. perhaps they should join forces, one could be the others running mate. not that it would really help either one. neither has a shot in hell-thankfully.

When multiple other countries say it and question it, yes. I think any one is a fool to be so close-minded about these things. All you have to do is read our foreign policy document. And I will not argue with you until you read it and understand its implications.

Of course I don't believe everything I see on TV, and I do acknowledge the fact that other governments are corrupt. Some are a lot more corrupt than ours. I'm just saying that our government is corrupt and they do lie to us quite a bit.
