Im glad they put the wench back in jail. If she doesn't want to eat or sleep, then who cares. she doesn't have my pity nor will she ever get it. Just because she has money and is a slut does she think she deserves special treatment? If I was that judge I would throw the dumb@ss sheriff who was going to let her do the sentence in her in jail or force him to resign his position. What if someone was killed when she blantantly broke the law. People like her are a menace to society and make all of us everyday hard working people who have respect for the law look bad.
Im sure if it was one of us we would not be able to pass go and go directly to jail. |

Lots of anger but unfortunately short on facts. Because you dislike someone it's OK to mistreat them...old old story! |
i'm now willing to conceed she is the mahatma gandhi of shallow rich white people if it will put an end to the posting on the subject.
this is my final offer. |

This isn't the first time she has broken the law. How many chances does she deserve? |

Your posts demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of the issues here, this has nothing to do with giving Ms Hilton another chance, nobody has suggested that she shouldn't be held responsible for her behavior, the issue is whether she should be treated unfairly simply to "make a point" or because so many folks seem to dislike her and apparently feel that if they get their "pound of flesh" it will somehow make their lives better. |

Let's see, the Ohio State sport board should still be up at ESPN, I'll post a link there to the horse board... |

No matter who you are or what your status is in society there should be no favortism. If they are using her as an example because of her celebrity status then it is unjust.

....why am I answering this!!? But maybe you meant something else. If you did...it's just that I am an OSU admirer, but not insane about it. Some of them built their homes in the likeness of Tressel. |

too often it seems a celeb is actually treated more harshly by members of the system. they want so hard to make it seem that they don't want to treat a star differently, but end up doing exactly that, by being over the top! but then...you have spector, on trial for murder, and not in jail during the trial. would you, or i, be home while on trial in that case? no. |

There are many "cracks" in our judicial system. Adding to the mess are the recent(5yrs) sentencing guidelines that handcuff all parties in a case. Somer: you still haven't read Grishams' The Innocent Man yet, have you??

"The system" is not 100 percent consistent. Can anyone speak to this judges actions in the past? I'm sure this isn't the most strict ruling ever given in a case like this, and I'm sure it's not the most lenient either. Either way, I don't really care...she got what she deserved & it's not the judge who was out there driving under the influence & endangering lives...so lets not put the spotlight on him....some people are just unbelievable! Let's put the judge on trial!! LOL!

He should receive a standing ovation. And I didn't say that you were blaming the judge for Paris' behavior...I said you were putting HIM on trial, which you are.

Take that judge to ANY public forum with a group of people present, and he'll get the same ovation. That's what your missing. Lemme guess, now your going to blame him for the ovation he received too??? That's awesome! At least you're consistent if nothing else. Oh yeah, then you try to turn it into a church thing...priceless stuff.

Like I said, change it into a church thing...you are awesome. Again, take the judge to any public forum & he gets the same ovation. Why are you trying to change gears all the sudden? This from the same guy that posted in the Josh Hancock thread...again, priceless.

I said he (Hancock) was responsible for his actions...here I'm saying Paris is responsible for her actions and THE JUDGE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS! 100% consistant yet in your mind...well, I frankly have no idea. Change what into a church thing? I documented what was reported...it happened in the church...with real-life church people, I'm not making it into anything...it is what it is! |

Timm, Discussing the report that the judge got a standing ovation when he walked into church. |
I love those born-again Christians.
We always can do wrong. Thats why we get born again. (I know. Has nothing to do with current topic) DTS presented the right verse for what happened at that church today. |
