Sorry about that i didn't know that corey was usually on colonel john. I guess i was listening to much to the people on tvg and hrtv when they were saying "wow gomez is taking off of colonel john and going to court vision he must really think high of court vision" i just didn't pay attention to the pp's thanks for clearing it up.

It was Gomez's call to ride Court Vision and not to ride Colonel John..

Do you have a poster of Corey Nakatani that tells you this?

You must be right and I am wrong because you put your response in CAPS!

Time to move this to the "Who gives a SH*T channel...."

CAPS add credibility. It's automatic.

I wasnt trying to start a internet fight here guys :) just thought it was a good example of a jock apparently getting off a really good horse to get on another that flopped. I hope corey gets to stay on colonel as i think he rode the race really well yesterday.

I'm trying to make sense of War Pass's trip. He battled a rabbit through some pretty fast fractions and only lost by a nose or a head. On one hand, I respect the horse because he was able to tough it out against a speedball and still be competitive all the way up to the wire. On the other hand, I have to wonder how much that trip took out of him. I guess there is still enough time before the derby that maybe it won't matter.

Any thoughts?

i don't know that i'd call what happened early on in the wood a battle. that other horse couldn't keep up, was all out trying, and just finally gave it up. since war pass didn't run a lick in his last, i'd think there could be room for improvement off that race yesterday. now, whether he can get the 10f of the derby....i just don't know. did he prove yesterday he can still be a force to be reckoned with? yes, i think he is. but i think he is best suited to a mile or so.
