Sumwon's pattern is good. What do you think of Le Peaks?

I think if she wins this, it'll be with a stalking trip. There's other speed.

jman5581 05-25-2007 06:15 AM

I will be at the Downs today. Probably won't make it tomorrow because I have a wedding to mess with. If anyone's up there today, call or txt me at 314-307-2389. If someone could txt me the results after the race that would be cool, thanks.

I know it is hard for DTers to be objective about her, but it seems to me like this distance should be right up her alley.

He's probably basing it on the speed and fade at 8.5f at Kee. A lot of people will look at that and say she's going to have problems getting the trip....we know better though.

You are off your rocker. she will be in front until she can't no more, no way she isn't going to try and go gate to wire. Unless Simon is up to some games : )

That pattern is also strong, but this horse hasn't seen a real dirt track since Dec 06. I consider sloppy as turf racing :) Also getting 14lbs from here, which is like 10 lengths....we are not 10 lengths slowers then that horse

14lbs is eqaul to 10 lengths? I'd say is closer to 4.5 lengths. That seems strong.

What the hell are you talking about? Philips Pride is a hellbent speed horse and there are three other horses stretching out that could show speed. I think it would be crazy to send SWLU to the lead, and she doesn't need to be on the front end anyway..

Clocker report - B

"Worked from the 5f pole and was going well when asked a little down the stretch and into the turn. In fractions of 24.3, 37, 1:01 to the wire before going on into the turn to fnish in 113:3"

no mention of Moonee Ponds in the clocker report. Just as well.. That Damn Le Chateau really gets my goat. Why don't they just skip this race and try Grade 2 again.:o

Cajungator26 05-25-2007 01:34 PM

My stomach is actually upset worrying about this race and I don't even own a share... :o

I'm really excited for you guys!

jman5581 05-25-2007 07:47 PM

She's ready for this one.... let's just hope the pace isn't as hot as all the skirts that were at the twilight races at CD today!!!

otisotisotis 05-25-2007 07:49 PM

Last month, the group regularly re-assembled after races across from the Paddock by the green patch with the statue of Aristides.. Makes sense to keep doing that. Certainly meet there immediately after the 6th race to go to the Paddock for the 7th...

More in the morning (middle of the night actually), as I need to crash now for a few hours.. Leave at 6:40..

31lengths 05-25-2007 09:24 PM

have fun all. tip one (or 2) for me. Guinness, preferably....

stevepopyak 05-25-2007 10:43 PM

Good luck everyone. We can't make this one, but hope to be at the next start. Be safe and bring home a winner!!!

Riot 05-26-2007 12:05 AM

Good luck Sumwon, run safe! Will not be able to wait to get home and see how she did. Hope all the DeeTee-rs have fun, bring us back some good pictures! :D

ddthetide 05-26-2007 09:30 AM

hey gang! we got to spend the day yesterday with Sumwon and chuck and we meet kelly and martin from canada! chuck, kelly and martin wonder people and we had great time at the track and lunch. hope martin made out ok on his pick 4? wife and i are soo excited and looking forward to today!

Sumwon, looks AWESOME! and is ready to RUN! a Pletcher horse ran by Sumwon as cherie was walking her back to the track entrance. Sumwon's head snapped around and she wanted to give chance! cherie was able to hold her down. our girl is ready and wanting and ready to RUN. i understand now why chuck and steve said earlier in the week "she Needs a race." today might just be our day.

good luck to everyone at the windows, hope to meet more of you in a couple hours. safe travels everyone.
GOOD LUCK TO SUMWON, have safe trip.

ArlJim78 05-26-2007 03:05 PM

Good news!
Battaglia once again did not pick her.

TheSpyder 05-26-2007 03:07 PM

Great shot of Steve leaning against the paddock in the 4 hole next to Chuck. Looks confident!

You make some purse, keep the condition. Nothing wrong with that.

BillW 05-26-2007 03:29 PM

She missed her lead change again - cost her, but otherwise great race.
