animosity out of jealousy? surely no one envies your ability to find old threads and re-post times that you were correct? i'm sure any of us have back-patting capability. some choose not to indulge.

Okay dude, you haven't listed where the picks must be in at...posted on selections section?...where?....12:15 central, EST????..what?

And again, a third-party person - Steve or whoever - has to have a check/cash/money order in his possession before we start the contest if we are playing for money....its not like I can jump through my computer screen and get it of you disappear.....this is only fair

Additionally, I assume we have the max capability of wagering $60 to Win and $30 to PLace per day with a $10 max bet on a single race of the 3 we have to bet..... assume that we can bet our Win and Place bets in different races and not always the same racwe if we so desire, etc.....the last two days the numbers drop to $45/day for a Win and $18 per diem for a Place with no more than $15 to Win placed on a single horse in a race and no more than $6 to PLace.....

What if I wanted to put $15 to win on two horses inthe same race?....Say they are both 10-1 shots in a maiden race...How does that work?...I assume just $15/race - which meas I could bet $8 to win on one of them and $7 to win on the other, right?

Your terms aren't crystal clear......

hoovesupsideyourhead 11-16-2006 08:17 AM

in the selections section...now do you agree to all the terms..including if i win......yes est time..

lol....shesh..now if that doesent say VOLUMES....

Scav 11-16-2006 08:38 AM

by the way, the $15/$6 rule is a great rule that I have never seen, I wish other contests had that rule, save people from chasing $40 horses at the end to try and screw good cappers

I am taking Hooves in this one. I have seen time and again Hooves putting up big scores on this site as well as the old one. Hooves hammered a tri at Santa Anita a while back that needed 2 Brinks trucks to unload, wasn't it a 6 digit score Hooves? I mean come on, he is the ultimate playa!

Scav 11-16-2006 09:39 AM

Just called Vegas

Hooves = -160
Mr. Everyone is jealous of = +140

Put your money where your mouth is... oh wait... where is that again?

Cunningham Racing 11-16-2006 09:54 AM

I prefer an on-going contest, but not sure how we could do that format.... like the standard X-amount starting voucher with an X-race minimum of bets with an X-minimum to bet on each race....but your right on the phony ways of winning since we aren't betting real money and anyone can dump on a prayer in the last race......

The best way to do it is probably just to pick winners the old fashion way. The way you are capping things it limits upside anyway and only 8-1s need to be found....might as well make it a straight WIN fest.

Just pick the whole card with top 3 in case of scratches. What's wrong with that?
