If some ailment were to sideline Uncle Mo between now and the Derby... wouldn't that make for an interesting scenario? A lot of $$$ would be on Dialed In (who would come in a fast closing 2nd or 3rd) and The Factor would have to be a super horse to contend with the pretenders that would hound him all the way on the lead. Who, then:zz:

Tackleberry.

The first to pull off the elusive Charles Town Classic - Met Mile sweep.

Well, as long as he wasn't hurt, I'm glad.

How come this wasn't reported anywhere?

lord007 04-07-2011 11:36 PM

Indian Charlie 04-08-2011 12:53 AM

By the way, is he going to recover in time for the Derby?

Out for 4 months.

For a fracture!?

That's ridiculous!

Back in the day, that horse would have been laid up a week or two, aimed to the Derby Trial, and wheeled right back!

Is Astrology still in the Arkansas Derby? I didn't see his name in an article on the race, and you don't have him on the graded earnings list as going.

If he does run, at gets a Beyer of over 90, I'm pretty sure he's the Kentucky Derby winner. The middle move followed by the hang job in the Sunland Park Derby was a dead give away.

Will have to contend with R Heat Lightning, however.

I'm following Astrology closely, wish I knew if he were in the Ark. Derby, he did have a 5 furlong workout at S.A in 1:00 and 4/5th's today. If he doesn't go this Saturday in the Ark. Derby, at least this gives hope he's still on the Derby trail and will prep in a different race

I like Archarcharch in the Arkansas Derby. He finished well, behind The Factor and is bred to run a bit.

The whole field was well behind The Factor in the Rebel.
