They also bought a horse named Labamta Babe off of a trainer named Elvis Cobb after it romped in a 30K MCL race at Ellis Park .. the horse dominated the Grade 2 Santa Catalina and looked like one of the favorites for the Derby - but got hurt and didn't run again till the King's Bishop.

Also they had Midas Eyes - who ran too good to believe in his first start for them after two ok Calder races for Hatchett.

Bonnie,

If this is directed to me, I thought she was legitimate coming into the race based on her figures and the way she had won. I picked her second behind Funny Feeling who looked to get a pace set-up (but didn't rally a lick). I was surprised how easily she devoured the field.

94 Beyer by the way..

Thanks, Steve, for seeing her as legit. I absolutely love the story on this one.. as I said, it gives all of us smaller owners that elusive hope. He paid 4.5K for her! PS: Your new hours are frustrating, but I catch you when I can.

As you obviously have a problem with using time, I posted before the race and commented specifically on how four of the horses who went postward in this race were also nominated to the Test. The running of this race 24 hours before the Test surprised me.

I hope you cashed in a big way on the tremendous value this horse offered. Next time do us a favor and post in the Selections room. It's open 24 hours, so you won't have to use a clock.

So sorry! I'm new to the board and didn't know there was a time limit on when or how you could post. Jeez, guys, take a deep breath and relax. I was just thrilled for the horse. And noo, since she went off as the favorite, I don't get to retire on my winnings.

Post away Bonnie. Don't take people too seriously on here. A dysfunctional family picnic here.

I went to the paddock to see Lisa’s Booby Trap. She’s a very tall filly and she’s absolutely stunning. She was on her toes and a handful. I didn’t know what to expect but I can tell you she has the look of a very special horse.

I can’t attest to what it must be like being a male with a stripper after me but I sure hope Tim Snyder keeps the horse. Frankly, once Hollywood buys the story he’ll have his cash and the horse too.
