O'Maley (FR), 7 year old gelding, at Perth on the 23rd.
This was his 15th start. He'd been pulled up in his last race and fell in the one before that. Poor guy. |
Cloud Nine, today at Aqueduct.
* * * Watchthespace (IRE), 8 year old gelding at Towcester on the 21st. |
Raspberry Kiss, 2 year old filly, in a horrific accident today at Churchill.

I don't know the story, only that there was an incident on Sunday at Morphettville and that Wool Zone (AUS) (10 years old?) and Taken at the Flood (AUS) (he was 8) were both euthanized.
Rest in peace. |

Bonny Bright Eyes, 4 year old girl, fell to her death (April 26th, Wetherby).
10 starts, she'd never won a race. Rest in peace. Excerpt, Racing Post... Bonny Bright Eyes had been on the sharp end throughout, and was keeping on really gamely when crashing out. Sadly it was a fatal fall. |
Sunline... a true champion.

Was reading the article and saw where they mentioned "Theregoesjojo" getting a skull fracture I guess after rearing up in the shedrow. |
so very hard to say as we lost a great member of our family it seems, Joeyblueeyes who was named in honor of our brother Joe who we lost all too soon. Left us as he was doing what he loved best, racing, at his home track of calder race course. For all the joy you brought us rest in peace Joey.
