Breaking a half a step slow cost her 2nd for sure last nite. The little horse is speedy for sure, while once again leading at the top of the stretch. One thing about " Zoom-Zoom "...she'll get a call during the race. Nice run !!!

Cannon Shell 09-04-2009 08:40 AM

She just needs a little less distance

phystech 09-04-2009 09:49 AM

They should have run her at Timonium (MD State Fair) - could have gotten in a 4f event there.....

GO PILL GO

Benny Leger 10-19-2009 03:03 PM

5 1/2f...My guess is they will try to get her to rate from a stalking position tonite. Either way I'll be at RD rooting "Pills" home safe and sound.

Scratched.

Benny Leger 10-19-2009 11:42 PM

By the track Vet. Hope it's not serious.

Hope she's ok. I've heard from reliable sources that you've really got to watch the horses at tracks like Mountaineer, Thistledown etc.

cabvmd 10-20-2009 03:14 PM

I will use my connection witht he NJRC state vets to find out why she was scratched. If she can not race any time soon we should find out where they are going to send her for rehab.

We have to watch the work tabs, she would most likely have to work to get off the list.

We have to keep a close watch so we do not lose track of her.

freddymo 10-24-2009 02:53 PM

Why the got her for 7500 and made a few chx with her. She has issues and 4.5 is perfect with her early foot.. Plus she was a vet scratch so who is going to grab her for 8000? Go Lil Pill Go..We love You...Come home safe and sound lil girl..

I agree Freddy, that is a completely reasonable spot

The odds of these 3 winning is as likely as the Chiefs Rams and Browns winning this weekend..

Komodo has done enough..We are looking for a fast truck to Mexico for his next start and finish..lol

Duvalier 10-29-2009 09:46 AM

What kind of day rate do they get at Penn?

50 bucks.. Its all about getting a Pa Bred that can run a 55 BSF every 3 or 4 weeks.. You get that type and you can make a little money.

The vets are half price to NY as well..250 to do ankles in Pa 500 in NY..I guess the cortisone or spikes are Ny breds?? lol

ninetoone 10-29-2009 06:54 PM

Went off at 1/2. If she was still a DT horse she probably would have gone off 1/10. lol

I love watching this little horse run. She's a hard knocker for sure. Way to go Pills.

I know enough people in the business we can track her down, try to buy her and retire her. There is a nice quite paddock here at my house she can share with Silver Over Finish, my 21 yo retired racer of 80 starts with $215,000 bank roll. He live here with us and all my other animals like a king!! My stalls have sky lights and windows for when they have to stay in so they have good light, fans in the summer and heated water buckets and hot feed in the winter. I get my hay from a friend that has a farm up In Saratoga county and it is really nice!

Was looking at the race on Thoro-Graph, and Rampillion is 9-5 for a good reason. It's a weak field.

I wasn't in her group, but that sounds good to me! Were you thinking of talking to her owners very soon to get a deal, or claim her?

It would be interesting to have one of those on line interviews with the new owner or trainer of Pills-like they have on bloodhorse...or a short post script from them.
