It is like 75 degrees outside, minor winds, not a cloud in the sky, it is amazing....wish I was golfing right now, and then the track later :)

As for being there Spyder, just isn't going to happen today. Just one of those things. Trust me, with the way I have been going lately, it is better that I am not there, everything I have touched has turned into crap :(

Feel your pain Scav. 1st choice was to be at AP. That didn't work out. Then I was supposed to spend today in Atlantic City. Work has totally hosed that plan. Will be lucky now to watch the race at Rosecroft. :mad:

KNS jumping in the paddock. Think they said she fell and looks like she's scratched!

Flipping over....She reared and then flipped.

Same thing happened in the 2nd race with the 1, except that horse ended up in the parking lot. Thank god TC caught her in time....

She was walking around alright after she flipped but the vet ordered her scratched.

damn was wrestling with WMP trying to get it into compact mode to avoid prying eyes here, next thing saw was TC with her kinda on a long rein then next thing see is scratched - from what could see she seemed okay but did have kinda funny look on her face, now makes sense what was going on - dang hope she's okay... will check back later for updates :( :( :(

sad news for those that made the tripp.. talked to steve..she flipped and had a few scrapes so the vet had to scr her..hes gonna go back to the barn after a few..but as of now she is ok..and would have at least placed vs those..:mad:

Unexpected pace also, she wasn't beating the 2 but she might have blown by the 1/6 for 2nd....

that turned out to be a pretty dreadful race outside of the winner. she didn't look terrible after she flipped, but she was scraped up. better safe than sorry.

well i work sun-thurs at my day job, and since the 4th is on a friday, i get an alternate holiday which i took today.

but still, if i'm not there, i'm here spending half a day working anyway.

Wow...not a heckuva lot to say after that. I painstakingly avoided all results to watch the AP replay and saw the 5 scratch. Quite a shame to all attending. The original owners certainly named her appropriately I guess! Hope she's ok with only the minor issues.

she would have finished an easy second in that race.:(

DAMN!!!!!!!!

i brought bad luck i guess. within 5 minutes of my arrival at the paddock she managed to knock over the kid holding her during saddling, and then in short order reared and flipped over on her side. i felt bad for the folks that came in for this. i hope she's alright, she smacked pretty hard flush on her side. she got up but they made the right call and scratched her immediately.

no way was she going to beat the winner anyway, although I think she would have got a check.

An FYI, I might be over their tonight to help out and hold the horses because their is a major fireworks display and they tend to go nuts, if I go, I'll get an update. :)

I went back to see KNS at the barn and she seemed fine ... was eating her hay and seemed alert and playful - has a couple of scrapes from the fall. When she fell, she was back up before we knew it ... beautiful day and still had a great time on my first visit to AP.

Make sure you stand RIIIGHT behind 'em..
