Not that Im Howards biggest fan because I still dont see him having many low post moves and no real mid range game, but if I could only have 1 it would be Howard. He is just big and is 23-12-4 every single night. He will never ever win a Championship alone though.

Of course he isn't the Kobe of a few years ago, but he's still better than 95% of the league. You give him one of the best PG's the game and more importantly a guy who is hungry (which I think Paul is) and it would be a good match. I love Odom, but he's not a young guy anymore. They still need help in other areas, but the Heat showed us last year it's possible to make it to the Finals with 3 players and Juwon Howard.

yup

I wish the Knicks or Heat would have tryed harder to get Greg Oden. If healthy he is instantly the 2nd or 3rd best center in the NBA. Thats if we are even calling Dwight Howard a center. A 1 year flyer on Oden is huge reward and no risk at all.

They just said on ESPN that Paul is not thinking of this as done. He has been on the phone for over 3 hours with a union rep and its basicley not over yet.

Portland could match and those teams couldnt offer him a deal they wouldnt match. Dwight Howard is the epitome of center.

Is he really? I remember Ewing, Shaq and the Dream. Howard would have not been much vs those guys in there primes.

They were getting 4 NBA starters. Dragovic is a pretty good PG. Martin is a 20+ a night scorer. Scola is a top 7 or 8 PF. Odom would have been their 3. Put them with Okafor and you have a playoff team. Not a deep run playoff team but a pretty reasonable team. As of now they have 6 guys under contract and who is going to want to sign there now?

Howard would do fine against those guys.

This is something I would expect in a fantasy league. How did this dope make so much money?

He is big and powerful with no skill set.

Supposedly Howard to Nets for Lopez, 2 number 1's and filler

Come on. Your behind. That was reported last week. Stephen A. Nasmith was saying how its not a bad trade for Orlando because Lopez is legit.

He has Center skills. He has a nice jump hook and last year deveoped the Tim Duncan backboard shot. If he continues to improve from the line he will be even better. He gets every rebound he is close to and is a superior defender. Not sure what more you want? Bring the ball up the court? Shoot 3's?

Ewing had a mid range game and so did Hakeem. They were deadly. They have low post games. Im actually really surprised your a Howard guy. He would be one of the best with more real skills.

I feel like NJ is kinda not relevant. It seems like Deron Williams really does not want to be there anyway. Without another superstar he will be gone 2.

He is by far the best center in the NBA right now. Not even close. Please dont tell me about guys you saw when you were 7. Howard is getting better every year. Dont forget he is 26 years old and probably hasnt peaked.

The thing that you and many others seem to forget is that there arent that many "superstars" and with the cap you have to have a unique situation to get more than 2. If they get Howard and some supporting pieces they will be a factor. Who was the 2nd superstar in Dallas? Who was the superstar when the Pistons won a few years ago?
