What does the dubai guys have anything to do with it. Many of Pletcher and Frankels partners have deep pockets too like Tabor and Judmonte. If the dubai folk can just "buy" thier derby then they would have done it years ago.

Odds are that if they win it will be with a horse like Bernardini who stayed in the US, not a horse that goes to Dubai. If one of McLaughlin's late developing types comes to hand in Dec for Darley it will be too late to send him to Dubai. I think that the odds are that if Sh. Mo wins the Derby it will be with a US based colt.
