I like CQ more and more, still not as much as Street Sense.

Just hope Johnny V remembers CQ is a closer and does not make a move to earli

Here is another one, don't bet like crazy on No Biz in the Derby. He is not very likely to win imo, and I feel strongly about that.

Agreed...I try to always toss one of the top Derby contenders each year;
this year...it's PG1985 choice.

And it's got nothing to do with you're posting...I just don't like him in this spot.

That's probably a terrific barometer if you believe there are nine jockeys in the country better than Edgar Prado.

He knows this and I think he is your winner, at a possibly juicy 12/1

Just look who he rides against at Monmouth Park absolutely nothing except for Lezcano. His stats are inflated by riding there.

Umm. . . Cornelio? Maybe Kent? I don't even know who #18 and 20 are. . .

The bet of the Derby is to box every non-pletcher and no o'neil horse in an exacta.

I agree, honestly, I wish he would go to southern cal and win a couple titles to validate what he is done.

Otherwise, the talk will always be there. And what does he have to lose, he would be instantly accepted if his heart was into it.

Baze is a very capable jock. You do not stay on top for so long on any circuit if you do not have talent. Baze has won his fair share of nice races.

Not really...How many graded stakes has he won in S. Cal? i am not being sarcastic, being serious. I am sure he has won a couple, but winning graded stakes races in N.Cal is like winning stakes races at Arlington on any day but Million Day

Bobby Fischer 04-16-2007 09:34 PM

What a lineup!

His stock may peak at 8.5 or 9 furlongs, but this is an all-star team.
No big surprizes but good to hear something as well. Looks like the Tabor home-bred Circular Quay has been their top hope.

Prado earned his mount in the Florida Derby with Scat Daddy.

Blinkers-Off yet with Sam P. ?

Ah, Trickey Trevor
