He's a citizen for sure, the topic isn't sillly because lawsuits are still being fought with OB easily able to free up the courts by releasing the certificate. That's a phone call. what's the problem?

The myth of government created jobs is the twin to the myth of jobs saved by protectionist tariffs. Put a 20% tariff on imported steel in an effort to protect the jobs of U.S. steel workers and what is the result? The cost of everything made from steel is higher than it would otherwise be - a hidden tax on consumers. A new oven that might have cost $300 may now cost $360. The consumer has $60 less to spend on something else. Perhaps they would have dined at a neighborhood restaurant but now have less disposable income to do so. Perhaps the restaurant will reduce the size of its workforce because business is slow. Capital that is spent by consumers to maintain the jobs of the steelworkers has not magically appeared; it has been removed from other sectors of the economy. Once again, the jobs that are lost are spread out over the country and are impossible to identify, while politicians can easily point to the steel industry and say "look, we saved these jobs". They are simply robbing Peter to pay Paul, but Peter is hidden away in the cellar and Paul just bought a new SUV.

Nice work, if you can get it

How does quoting someone's stupid blog support your argument? Is your Blog any better than Riots?

there are frivolous suits filed every day- the guy who sued the cleaners for a fortune over a pair of pants; the lady suing her comedian daughter in law because she doesn't want to be a topic for her jokes. far right whack jobs grasping at straws shouldn't be given the time of day by the president. the whole story is absolutely ridiculous and is a non-issue, and isn't worthy of a response.

Riot has a problem with comprehension sometimes. I figured someone elses words may help her out.

And that blog is right on the money.

Not a chance. Not to say i wouldnt vote for a republican or i'm not open to the proposition that Obama might not do a great job but...

I am sincere in my belief that George W. Bush was one of the worst president in our history and there is nothing partisan about that belief. I have never seen an outgoing two term president NOT ALLOWED AT HIS OWN PARTY's CONVENTION.

Think about that.

When you're not hating on Jess Jackson and downplaying the new alchemist Linda Rice ...you sound a lot like this guy in the paddock threads.

What's Pletcher, and McLaughlin, and Asmussen gonna do with all those good 2yos?

I am holding out on Obama. I like a lot of the things he has done. This ecomony needs all of the stimulus that can be mustered. Surely you took some econ classes at U of A and saw the mistakes of the Depression. I have no problem with doing whatever is necessary to get the wheels turning again even if some of the consequence is future inflation.

I do disagree with him on healthcare right now. It could very well be his waterloo.

There is very little reason to like Jess and the Linda Rice phenomenon is over.

There is a wide variety of stimlus available and his choice was way down the list of what I would have chosen. Of course I dont have to reward my political friends and cater to my liberal backers like he does.

He could always reward his friends the republican way. He could start an illegal imperialistic war against a sovereign nation by using false evidence as cause. Then, after we spend billions on bombs made my his buddies to destroy said country, we could give his other buddies no bid contracts to rebuild the place.

yes...the "conservative" way!

Of course...a lot of people got rich.
