@DRFFormulator @BDiDonatoTDN @DRFInsidePost is it possible at this point to say whether it will be today, tomorrow or even longer?

DRF Formulator ‏@DRFFormulator 1h
@NTamm1215 @BDiDonatoTDN @DRFInsidePost Hard to say with 100% certainty, but looking good for later today.

I agree with you. When there is a power outage, it's not going to take several days to fix. I would have to think there is something else going on. Maybe the site got hacked. I remember for a while there when some foreign hackers were taking control of sites and then blackmailing the owners of the sites to pay a ransom. I wonder if something like that could be going on in this case.

Anyway, no matter what is causing the site to be down, I sure hope they have the site back up at some point today.

Yes. It is very clear it's not a power outage that's at work here.

Since they have our credit card numbers on file I'd keep an eye on it.

Walt Gekko 05-23-2014 06:21 PM

From what I'm hearing from someone I know quite well, there apparently was a water main break in the area that caused this.

lemoncrush 05-23-2014 06:31 PM

Can we assume that...since they haven't posted free PP's for Sunday yet, that they are hopeful the site is close to being back up?
I'm not playing Saturday, but would love to dive into sunday's PPS as soon as possible.

Walt Gekko 05-23-2014 06:40 PM

Site is back up:

Nothing working for me still. . . hope what they said on twitter about it taking time for the DNS to propagate is actually true.

Kasept 05-23-2014 07:07 PM

Working for me on phone and via side doors on laptop: http://www1.drf.com/drfPastPerformance.do

Formulator: http://www1.drf.com/formulator-web/L...#card-selector

Kasept 05-23-2014 07:26 PM

Close browsers and reopen and try. Working straight in: http://www.drf.com/

hockey2315 05-23-2014 08:24 PM

Have tried Mac, PC, iPad and phone. . . Multiple browsers, two different ISPs.

No luck.

Glad it's working for some. . .

dellinger63 05-23-2014 08:25 PM

Just tried and success

Walt Gekko 05-23-2014 08:36 PM

DRF has FREE Sunday Classic PPs as well as for tomorrow: http://pp.drf.com/freePPs.jsp

Just downloaded ALL of Sunday.

Alabama Stakes 05-23-2014 11:16 PM

when i print them they come out too small to read

Rupert Pupkin 05-23-2014 11:18 PM

It was working for a little while but it is down again.

-BT- 05-23-2014 11:25 PM

just bought a racing form for tomorrow.....and this is bad

belmont doesn't have ML odds

i'm looking at Arlington now, and they're showing first time starters with ZERO workouts, and horses coming off extended layoffs with ZERO work outs, couple with no trainer stats of 1st time blinkers, layoffs, etc.....this can't be right

$7.50, and now you can't even access the basic sh!t anymore.... if brisnet ever made a paper it would be a no brainer at this point, drf is down right pathetic

hockey2315 05-23-2014 11:27 PM

For those looking to use Formulator, but still can't get access, it should work if you set up Open DNS. . . at least it worked for me. Somehow. Miraculously.

Rupert Pupkin 05-24-2014 04:40 AM

It is working again.

Between the Formulator problem on Derby weekend and this, DRF really needs get their act together and take hard look at their overall computer infrastructure....oh well will probably make my decision for me to go back to Brisnet

Good Luck everyone this weekend

I agree. Even with reading glasses they are still very small. The only way I can properly read the pps is to keep them in Adobe and enlarge the font size.

Have you tried saving it to your computer and printing directly from the file?

Alabama Stakes 05-24-2014 12:00 PM

reading the form at 4:40 am. good job rupert.

Stickhorse 05-24-2014 02:46 PM

Finally looks like things are pretty much back to normal.

Really missed the trainer stats and J/T combo #s I've become so used to depending on.

jms62 05-25-2014 05:45 PM

Looks like DRF learned what should be a no brainer. Your disaster recover plan should not have your backup servers located in your primary data center.
