Of course he will. He looks talented. We can't have talented horses running around for a long time. What would that do to the sport?

No you're not. You aren't the one who needed to lecture us on his history...and then got it wrong.

I heard 80% of him was sold for $2.4 million.....but I wasn't sure...so I didn't post it. I'm funny that way.

Well, the number that I heard was 3.5 million...

who else is pointing to the arkansas derby?
i have to belive that his next race would be the time to bet against him coming off of 2 huge efforts like this, he could be a bit vunerable next time out going 1 1/8

I hope they go the Preakness route with this horse instead of the Derby route, but I know that this most likely won't happen. He is very rushed to make it to the Derby. If they back off this horse, and give him a little more time, he could turn into the absolute monster that I believe him to be. Nice, nice, nice colt....

Bernardini 2: Electric Boogaloo

You tell us, sista!!

kentuckyrosesinmay 03-17-2007 10:23 PM

No, not Bernardini 2, as this horse's career will most likely be extremely short

Also, I won't hype Curlin anymore...I've said all that I want to say about him...

*back to lurking*

Bernardini had a long career?

Cya!!

blackthroatedwind 03-17-2007 10:24 PM

It just keeps getting better.

What happened? I step out for an hour and come back to find that the green beer is really flowing around here tonight.

berreman150 03-18-2007 09:43 AM

I will probably wait before deciding if I will add him to my stable, maybe will add to my husbands as that will pretty much guarantee a win next out. Looking forward to Lawbreaker today. need some wins today as the only thing I hit yesterday was the late Oaklawn pick 3, which helped but still lost money overall. Did got some points though, my picks have a knack for running 2nd or 3rd.

No, Bernardini didn't have a long year, but he did finish out the year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Derby was Curlin's last start...

That's the difference between short and "extremely" short...

Well if you knew anything about sequels they usually aren't better than the original. But of course you know that, your highness.
