which makes the call that much worse. if they are supposed to know better, since they're the 'real' folks, than what's their excuse? the replacements refs are bad-but the regular refs come up with some doozies too. |

But last night was even better. He actually talked sh.it after the call wasn't reversed. Seriously? Who gloats for winning like that? He's a punk. |
Every game I watched (parts of) on Sunday was an officiating disaster.
It seems like this replacement refs are getting worse -- I thought they did fine week 1, they kind of sucked week 2, and week 3 was an utter abortion. |

and they can't count yards either. on sunday, they assessed 20 yards for a 15 yard penalty in the 'skins game. you'd think they could keep track of how many white lines to cross. |

Of course I'm betting they somehow try to explain that the call is not clear cut or something to that effect. It is hilarious watching this covered on NFL Network. They are trying to spin it like it was the right call. |
These refs have been afraid to make tough calls against the home team from the start but last night was rediculous. The NFL should be ashamed of what they are putting out there because it is affecting the outcome of games.

So 3 of these officials are former Pac10 officials who were fired due to incompetence. |

Simultaneous possession can't be challenged or overturned by review. The replacement guys, in a lot of instances this week, have shown that they don't know all of the rules. |

What a guy. |

Just stellar, you can't make this stuff up. |
I actually think this could push the two sides further apart. The league is under tremendous pressure to come to an agreement with the refs this morning but at the same time, the refs are now negotiating from a tremendous position of strength. They have no reason to give in and instead can just sit back and let public opinion continue to build against the league.

I wonder if Tony the Tuna got a hold of one of the refs
