Yes, I'd think so. He was definitely best today and didn't really require a lot of rider input. JV mentioned several times he would take care of Robby though.

He might not have to take care of him. I'm not 100% sure how this works but couldn't this be a double jock mount fee situation, because Albarado was named and if he is taken off by the owner, then the owner has to pay a double jock mount.

Again, I'm not 100% sure how this stuff works as I have never seen it happen but I've heard of it.

Does JV stay on AK for the Preakness?

Based on the possibility of Mo going?

I would think he would stay on unless Mo does go. It would not be unprecedented.

I think that JV will be on Animal Kingdom regardless if Mo runs or not.

I want to believe that Pletcher and JV have that sort of relationship that Pletch would give JV his blessing on trying to win the Triple Crown.
Or maybe I'm just being very naive.

I think that is probably correct too, but you'd have to think Gomez winning the Preakness on Mo might be uncomfortable for all in the future.

One has to go back only two years to find a Derby-winning jock take a different mount in the Preakness.

If Mo's going to win, I'm hoping that it's Dominguez in the winner's circle with him.

I can't imagine that Mo will make the Preakness.

Why does anyone believe he will EVER run again.

He will likely press the pace and finish way up the track in the 2012 Breeders Cup Classic, duh.
