Sunday night I had 3, then I went into the kitchen and picked a lot of the meat out of the sauce.

Damn.

That's a lot of calories. LOL. You have to put in work to burn that.

Very good secret, only way to do it.

If he keeps that up, he will be dreaming about colors for his hoveround and moo-moos in no time. .

I do an extremely good pulled and shredded pork. I trim it well, and eliminate all fat possible in the process of shredding. VERY lean is the end result.

I go for an eastern Carolina vinegar based sauce. Occasionally a mustard based sauce.

It must be good.

My food prep talent helped me getting laid in the years I was single between marriages, and then helped me get a new killer trophy wife 8 years ago. From my vantage point.

Can I post "laid" and not get banned?

:-)

The idea of very lean pork is kinda like drinking a non alcoholic beer, no?

I can enjoy the vinegar based, but I've always preferred western Carolina tomato based, and if you get the freshly made stuff (not the crap in a tub at the grocery store), it's pure heaven...sorry, just started daydreaming for a second. Great, now I'm hungry.

What does Carolina Barbeque offer up?

Sorry for interrupting the food thread :p but I have a question (don't have pps)...

In the House of Delegates Speaker's Cup... I'm sorry but is that the Railroad or are there two?

Is this the same horse who came in behind King's Drama (and right in front of my favorite horse ever Hendrix) in the San Gabriel (2006? 2007?) ?

Thanks in advance.

My PP's only go back to 2009 but he was trained my Brian Koriner and raced at SA in 4/09. He has lifetime earnings of almost $500,000.

Same horse.
This is a great betting race. Railroad will be midfield in the wagering,30-1 ML:rolleyes:
$2 win on him in 49 lifetime starts would yield roughly $98. Only twice has he been over 20-1 and the biggest price he paid in 13 wins was 11-1.
I'm in for a Hamilton.

Thanks, guys!

I had wondered what became of him but completely forgot to add him to my stable mail and hadn't seen this name in forever.

Big fan and yeah Port Conway Sir I know, I know but with this guy it's all about rooting. They're not all Citation. :)

I'd be rooting for him whether I bet the race or not.
I'm not sure how Citation has any bearing on this:confused:
Anyway here's to the good old geldings:tro:

On the old DRF forum, an individual who was intimately associated with Railroad(no joke intended) gave info on a health condition Railroad had recently corrected thru surgery. He went on to say that the trainer said Railroad was now much improved. He won at mid odds, maybe 6-1 or 8-1, I may be able to tell by looking back at the pp's. I beleive more than a handful of us took it to the bank
Railroad has won(as well as lost) for me since, I've lost site of him since his decline into low claming ranks, but he's 3-3 on this turf, appears to be in top form, and needs just one horse in this race(IMO Vanquisher) to have a sub-par race in order to pull the upset. I'm sure he'll be there trying at the top of the stretch:)

The way I remembered it on drf the guy asked opinions about the horse (I missed the part about the health condition) and in Railroad's 2nd start for the new connections (this guy was part owner) he popped at 11-1,his lifetime high odds when winning. Carava claimed the horse back from Ted West and the poster in question made money on the horse and the wager. (along with many others as you pointed out.)

Therefore, to me, Railroad is my ultimate sentimental wager. I know nothing of him now, but I feel he'll be at his best for this age. Perhaps a $5 WPS is in order

I shall join you and do the same.

Come home safe, Railroad.
