Ughh and me a bit.

You will never live it down if he wins...it will be my sole purpose in life, to remind you of the heckling.

I thought you were trying to dig out, betting this horse isn't going to help that, even if he has been sitting in the hyperbaric for the last 60 days.

haha, yeah that is why Maker wins his races...the oxygen chamber.
It must have been broke down this winter...He is ONLY 20% for the year.
Big drop off from the last couple of years.

Are you saying it isn't a huge part of his program? Lets be clear I am not slamming him, I know he is your boy and I am not about to get into another thread war :)

a % is a %. You can make it what it is. For example. Doug O'Neil's % is all combined, all those comedy Beulah and CharlesTown wins count towards his %.

No...It is not a huge part of his program at all.

Monmouth could be an interesting meet with all that money they are putting into thier races. A maiden special for $75,000, don't know if many of those races are run for that much.

I think he goes off near that. Prices based on the Makers/Blue Grass double:

1 Odysseus 9/2
2 First Dude 9/1
3 Stately Victor 50/1
4 Make Music for Me 7/1
5 Codoy 40/1
6 Pleasant Prince 5/1
7 Paddy O'Prado 7/1
8 Aikenite 6/1
9 Interactif 2/1

He's probably a one turn horse but at that price I'll have to make a wager.

mbahadur 04-10-2010 04:30 PM

The $10K suitcase of cash was bet on Paddy O'Prado at 7-2 (down significantly from the morning line of 10-1).

Aitkenite looks appealing at 6-1 (with Gomez picking up the mount). Also, I do like Pleasant Prince at 6-1.

I hope you absolutely crushed this man, that was huge.....

I don't get why Odysseus ran here instead of the Arkansas Derby; all this race proved is that he doesn't handle polytrack - he got nothing out of this race.

randallscott35 04-10-2010 04:37 PM

I was pulling for that dude with the pregnant wife. Sucks to be 2nd in there.

Indian Charlie 04-10-2010 04:39 PM

I'm not sure how anyone can like Keeneland anymore.

That track is a dart board.

Other than maybe a start in the Preakness.

fpsoxfan 04-10-2010 04:43 PM

Well....that's poly for ya. If you came up with that, then you are a genius.

On paper Stately Victor looked about as appealing as Nicky Boy would have been in the Wood Memorial.

justindew 04-10-2010 04:46 PM

How long before we hear that Keeneland is considering going back to dirt?
