Meaning he's wrong about the post and about Miner's Reserve being the fastest horse? Well, he's obviously high on him as he convinced Zito and LaPenta to deviate from their set plan re: pointing for the Preakness.

The Fl Derby looks like it will be a great betting race.
I'm going to take a long look at First Dude.
He's improving as he stretches out, and the horse that nipped him last time out (Fly Down) is running next weekend in the LA Derby, I believe. He likes the GP track, has the right running style, and another step forward puts him in the mix here.

Has that been confirmed - re: Fly Down? NOLA.com didn't list him....

Oh, ok, thanks. I usually tune out jockeys whenever they proclaim their current big mount as the best they've ever ridden.
