Chuck traveling and haven't talked to TC yet, but she will almost certainly scope with lungs full of mucous like Target Practice did yesterday. Chuck was very concerned when Target came back sick that the barn might be coming down with bug. It is the right time of year for that... Race back in two weeks. April 6. 1m-70y.

okay charts up, indeed made it back - says "through early" so hopefully she just got knocked around a bit and nothing serious - g/l to all rest of day -

Just talked to Chuck who talked to vet... Indeed, KNS was one fluid-filled mare. Antibiotics to clear whatever it is that she, Target Practice, Ship's Cabin, Rolled Up and even Richwood Silver all caught.
Kickin N Screamin will by-pass the April 6th race in favor of a return visit to the lawn of Atlantic City Race Course which runs this year April 18-24. |
Well that explains a lot. I hope they don't have anything serious and that it gets cleared up quickly.

Just got back from the Pha. Unfortunate that Kicken had to come down with something against this field. Tony had her in perfect position but obviously there was nothing there when he asked. Not much to say but that she ran like a horse that had lungs full of mucous, the only positive is the potential for an overlayed price next out.
Terrific day hanging with the crew, as always great to hangout with Dave and Darrin and a pleasure to meet Pweizer and BT today. I have no doubt that we will be getting a photo sometime soon somewhere on the Northeastern coast! |

Hopefully she and the rest of the horses can get over their colds. I hate 'em. I hope KnS has an easier time in Atlantic City than she did last time |

Nice time seeing / meeting everyone today. Beautiful day and well worth the trip down the Turnpike. Hope Kickin bounces back well.
Another AC start would be fun. |
Definately a fun day not withstanding the result. Special thanks to Dave who filled in admirably for Steve as the sharp dressed partner on the scene and who guided us all around.
As always, thanks to Chuck and Steve for making the whole DeeTee concept a reality. Paul |

Some more photos from today. Certainly a disappointing result for KnS but totally understandable considering the scope results. Tony was again great with the group both pre and post race. All and all another beautiful day at the races with the Dee Tee faithful. Always a fun time.

I did also. Clearly I was just a bit slow on the trigger but as I looked at the photo I thought in was kinda a cool shot. |
Thanks for the pictures Darren and Dave - love the last picture in both. Dave, for yours, instead of, "and they're off" we can call it, "and they left"
Hopefully KNS recovers nicely. |

yeah, that's nice I wonder what the yellow wrist band is for question they brought her in via pony and saddled her outside the paddock and then she went in the paddock to get the saddle off... correct? |
