Here's a link to her full brother LUV THAT LADDER... So the pedigree chart is the same: http://www.pedigreequery.com/luv+that+ladder

SIRE: Hook and Ladder (Dixieland Band)
DAM: Ausable (Comet Shine)

Ausable Chasm

That would have been my suggestion, Ausable Chasm is SO amazing, one of the best places in NYS- one of my best friends leads year-round tours of it.

I was thinking Ausable Chasm was the dams name.... I think that is a great NY/Adirondacks reference. Very cool.

I always thought it interesting that those savvy JC types catch things like song names and slave references, while names like apparently Shag on a Rock, Isitingood, whoosh obliviously right over their heads ;)

ausable heights? that way it pays homage to the hook and ladder side as well. but i do like ausable chasm.

is it just me, or does her facial marking look somewhat like one of the CDI spires? is the name 'aspire' taken?

Yes... he ran 2nd in the Hopeful and 3rd in the Champagne, and 2nd last in the BCJ this year. Should rebound for the derby trail.
