AlDeb sure looked relatively petite compared to some of those other amazons in the paddock - am hoping she just said oh the hell with it after being crowded down there in the pack and the jock decided to wait for another day - really hope she's okay... :(

Spoke to Chuck afterwards. Aldeb fine though he and Cherie noted that she curiously came back not sweating at all. Thornton said she fought him right away and had no interest in running on the footing.

Chalk synthetic surface try up as a 'no'. Back to the lawn she goes, which has been Chuck's inclination all along. But she worked so well over the AP main, that it seemed appropriate to try the poly. More from Chuck later. Disappointment but a learning experience and fitness plus.
