They take smaller owners out of the industry? How? By buying their horses? I don't know too many people who had Godolphin buy their horses and then said - "that's it, I'm out of the industry, no more horse buying for me."

Think of all the money Godolphin provides those who are already involved in the industry to go out and buy more. I personally know one owner who has a good number of horses, several stakes winners, and was more than happy to sell a stakes winner to Godolphin because of all the other equine investments he could pursue as a result.

People love to crucify our friends in blue for buying.

Meanwhile the sellers are never slammed.

That's all I'm gonna say (maybe). I've already listed charitable contributions, etc. so no need to state my point again. I have so many times now No Chance...

Just wanted to mention that Donativium is possible for the Prix de Saint-Patrick (Deauville on Saturday).

NoChanceToDance 06-30-2009 11:47 AM

People do leave the game though, small people who are in it for fun. They cannot afford to decline the sort of offers that these jokers offer and they go and spend money elsewhere.

Oh wow, a couple of charaties to make them look like the good guys, but the horses they destroy each year is ok, right?

You guys outside England/Ireland don't get it. You don't get what they are doing to the "sport" over here. They have taken control of the market and continue to boss around who they want..... all bar coolmore.

They've bought Evasive? why???? he's a seven furlong specialist who isn't quite up to Gr1 standard. Just a typical buy from them then! I've heard Bronze Cannon is off there, too. Not 100% sure, but that's what I've heard.

Godawful, they're a disgrace and an absolute joke, a laughing stock and yet they still have fans. I think it proves a massive point when their main jockey can't be bothered to ride many of their horses anymore.

Fed up with the jokers.

another horse in bone scan today, I even have a name. Manaaqeb. It's getting to be one a day!!!

Won today at Deauville...

.....and so they should be winning.

But where are they in the top class races? The Eclipse was today....... no godolphin rep. Many of the top races at Royal Ascot, where were they?

July Cup this week.......... anything? probably just evasive who they have just purchased.

They aren't good enough, even with all of their purchases.

Give up Godolphin, stick with airlines, and property development. Stop taking the fun out of this sport, stop buying every single piece of farming land in and around Newmarket, stop putting people out of work, start employing english people to work in ENGLAND, stop ruining the suffolk countryside and most of all, stop killing horses

Was in for a bone scan, not sure what the outcome was. Probably a fracture of some kind, but cannot be 100% sure.

That's too bad.

By the way remember Kirklees? Won yesterday at Sandown. :)

Yes, he's a seriously smart horse. Always rated him highly. Covert Ambition was second, and as long as they can keep him fit and healthy he's definitley one to keep an eye out for. I was told about him last year and his debut run was just brilliant. He then won the other week, and ran a real nice race yesterday.

Reminds me a lot of Desert Authority.

Since Godolphin have come into Newmarket, I'd say that farming in the area must be down by 30-50%.

Just so they can train even more horses, breed even more bad horses, ruinmore horses and slowly but surely destroy everything we once had.

Did you get my messageabout another Godolphin horse in bone scan? Emirates Challenger?
