Gary Moore ? He was the host of that game show in the 1960's.

What do Gary Moore and Gary Moore both have in common ?

This is addressed to the CEO of CLYDEFORM and it is a request.

I cannot start another handwringing, woeful thread in the pad lock BUT I am very concerned and would like a moment of your time.

Shirley you remember the American Derby a few years ago which the very nice boy, Workin' for Hops won... right?

So check this out:

So what I want to know is can we have the occasional theme day up until the running of the Belmont Stakes?

We can have act like a whore day, Old Dog Appreciation Day, Let's all be nice to the person we like the least day, Wish Workin For Hops Luck Day (obviously that's Friday), pay homage to Clydiepoo Day, Dolphin Day (no not that kind of dolphin), Pud Tales Day and on and on.

As Aragorn says in lotr return of the kings "what say you?"

So for Friday I'm not asking that we all hold hands and sing kumbaya or anything but can it be a day dedicated to him and the other nice graded stakes winners who end up in these 5k claiming races where they don't belong?

If it's no that's fine Morty... just let me know so I can start baking (you get a cake if it's no). :p

Now which day is California Chrome Day? :D

The shiny and official, uber d'uber, c'est magnifique response from Breadquarters:

OK,let's get one thing straight;stop calling me Shirley.

My time is precious, as you know. It's my generosity that allows me to share some of it with a plebe such as yourself.

To start;no,I did not know of this American Derby thing, but it is cases such as you cite that are very upsetting.I will grant you theme days.I think at least one should be in behoovenence of horsey's as you mentioned. As far as the rest of your suggestions are concerned:

We can have act like a whore day----Uhm,it seems to me every day is act like a HO day around here.

Old Dog Appreciation Day----doo dah!! is appreciated every day, too.

Let's all be nice to the person we like the least day----BARF!!

Wish Workin For Hops Luck Day (obviously that's Friday)----Granted.

Pay homage to Clydiepoo Day----keepah-keepah!!!!

Dolphin Day (no not that kind of dolphin)----Noticing your exception.....no.

Pud Tales Day---- Oh let Deb-O-Deb tell hers. She's got a lot of them.

Califronia ....who????

From Breadquarters:

It seems like perhaps, given me answers to your requests, you will be baking me that cake.

I only ask this time you use standard Portland Cement and not the High/Early strength type normally used in your recipe.

Thanks in advance.

... and a happy WfH day to you too.

my miss storm cat 05-31-2014 11:18 AM

One week till The Full Bel-Monty... I think maybe Ms. Arletta should designate the day...

What shall we celebrate today, L?

Shall it be California Chrome Day? :D

No.. That can wait until next Saturday :D

Let the grumpy/Bah Humbugger one decide if he so wishes to participate.

Sightseek 05-31-2014 11:33 AM

I don't speak for the grumpy/Bah Humbugger, but Ned and Hydra were thrilled that so many Chromesters showed up to watch Mr. Chrome workout this morning.

Such lovely people.

I was asked to post this bit of tomfoolery...

* * *

Uh, SightyKins.....have you become the Maggie equivalent in reporting the doings of the elite?Did the Belmonts mention if the Chromesters had bright, dapply coats?

Anyways,I proclaim today and every day leading to June 7 as Whack A Chromester Day.

That Saturday will be Commanding Curve Day;Chromessters may not participate.

When the race has run....we shall celebrate CommandingCurve's victory by having Whack A Chromester Again Hour.

I despise Chromester fans more than those disgusting Michigan fans. That's bottom of the barrel.

Why yes, yes I have. :D

herkhorse 06-02-2014 06:10 AM

Good news, California Chrome will now be attempting the triple crown wearing Skechers on his feet.

Oh and it turns out that Baffert is just Rockhardten's toy boy.

Pretty exited today, as I'm expecting my advanced tool from Clydeform in the mail.

Still no word from the Belmont's.:mad:

Sightseek 06-03-2014 07:11 AM

Clydeform's group of undercover reporters have uncovered that the Elite has dubbed Ride On Curlin, Mr. Personality and Tonalist as TDH (Tall, Dark and Handsome.)

More to come...

Sightseek 06-03-2014 10:28 AM

Kid Fizzle will not contest the Belmonty Stakes; however, he will still be available for rides in the picnic area.

PooSightyKins----Ned Belmont ( great guy) is very impressed by your Maggie work and your steadfastness in getting up to the minute reportage from my raccoons....whoa!!....I mean crack undercover reporting team.

There's probably a promotion onto his personal staff for you, know what ahm thayin'?

BeefHerky:You got 4 free months of Clydeform. You must pay for advanced handicapping tools. All the best handicappers have them.Just ask Tom Waites how well they work.

BrownSugah----You're doing fine work; keepin' real and givin' 'em steel.I give you Kiss-Kiss.

Arlettuce; You're a Chromester.Shame on you.

Mom....I miss you're commanding curves.Get back to work here as soon as possible. You must outline the contest rules not to follow very soon now.And wear those yoga pants. Those on you are like sssssssssssso hot!!!!

AbbeyGail....Oh. She's in jail again.Never mind.

For those tone deaf, and you are legion....does Belmonts race track speak anything of California Aluminum?

No.

What about Commanding Curve?

I think the track's sweeping curves might be a hint. You see? The ZC is staring at you.

I have an additional cipher, but Mom would be upset if I mention it again.

Put it this way; Neither the Alcoa's nor Reynolds' are jumping on youknowwho's band wagon.

Arletta 06-04-2014 02:11 PM

For $10 dollah one can even "ride" Chrome... well, sorta kinda.
