Calder did Ziade a favor by not giving a reason.

You pretty much sign your rights away when you sign your stall application. Trainers know that and owners should as well.

See if Calder had said exactly why he got booted, dopes like the ones that run MD racing might have seen fit to not give him stalls.

It's a disgrace that MD gave Ziadie stalls. Even more of a disgrace is that Racing Sec Hale and Chief Investigator Pogue admit to not having done their jobs prior to granting him stalls.

I've dealt with Pogue before when his main concern was that I made a license clerk at Colonial cry because she wasn't capable of doing her job as a temp hire.

Just two more people that MD employs that aren't worth their weight in salt...

It is difficult to comprehend how the reputation of the man could not possibly have preceded him. It's not like it hasn't been documented. "Dopes" is mild. "Catapulting money whores" is more apt.

What did the temporary license clerk do that resulted in you making her cry?

You know, bringing up the Andy Beyer article in the form today,I recall he was crowing about a trainer last year,at the same time of year, who magically improved a horse to a 115 beyer. And it was the same horse who won yesterday.

In wake of boycott, Gill calls it quits

Owner Michael Gill said he intends to sell off all of his Thoroughbred holdings, saying he is "just worn down" by the recent controversy involving the breakdowns of his horses at Penn National Race Course.

Tony Black......give me a break

Not that I heard the entire interview, but I just read the clip on Equidaily about Tony Black endorsing the unprofessional, infantile behavior of the Penn National jockey's....and it makes me wonder.....how come he didn't support a boycott of the ninth race today at Philadelphia Park in which there was a Michael Gill owned Anthony Adamo trained runner?

In case you were wondering, RIKMAN, the Gill/Adamo runner was an easy winner.

I would hope Byk would ask him as such the next time he is on ATR..I would hope Steve asks him as politely as he can to speak on the subject as frankly as he can..Apparently, Mr Black is Mr Grey if he doesnt have all the jocks behind him in advance..
