Well we are half way through this grueling contest. I say grueling as except for a few, this has been like being caught with your fly down during your wedding ceremony. It has been very humbling indeed.
Many of us have wagered far too much with still half the campaign to go. This has helped some and hurt others. Condolences to Fantini33 who now rests at 0-35. (Better hit a very big one with your last bet.) Don't feel too bad through as there are 18 out of 48 of us that have not brought home one winner so you’re not alone.
Mcclem0822 is leading actually showing a profit (+0.24) but has used 30 bets to get there.
Hi im god also shows a profit (+0.09) which may not be as big, but has done this with 5/13 winners leaving 23 bets left to catch up and looks the favorite at this time to take this contest down.
Rontheman1964 clipping a 30% win rate has cooled off to be third with 16 bets left (-0.10).
Sdjcom has only had two winners but both bombs and is forth with 13 bets left (-0.18)
Fifth is Cowgirlintexas who is 7/28 and -0.28 with only 8 bets left to make up ground.
Cowgirlintexas, Immanual Kent, and Ryonker have had a strong week making up a great deal of ground.
Then there are 21 contestants that have less than 15 bets who have every opportunity to make up all the ground. Most notable is Ntamm1216 who is in 11th with two wins with just two bets.

Okay, time to get dirty. Actually like a few on today's card. And I'll take a stab with a one other.

Race 2, #6 CELESTIAL DIAMOND - Finley, with no Lakin or other big money guy, shelled out 700K (WOW!) for this PA bred. Let's hope he can run (fast).

Race 8, #3, STARFORADAY - Post 1 not the place to be in this 7f affair, but I should get a good price on this guy whose last 4 Fast Main track starts have resulted in WIN (G3), WIN, WIN (@ SAR) and PLACE (by 3/4 length).

Race 9, #3, DOREMIFASOLLATIDO- Gonna hope for close to that 8-1 M/L and count on Jimmy J to know where she belongs.

Since I'm running the contest, a couple things:

1. If there is a discrepency for the first half, you have til Friday to advise me, otherwise its locked.

2. No new players. You all have endured the first half and it's not fair for someone to join in now.

3. Remember, you get 36 bets and are penalized $40 per race for bets not used so keep track and make sure you make 36. I'll know if you go over and advise.
