To learn that he's really not Exhausto and that's not his given name is one of the most depressing things I've ever gone through. My life is now an empty shell of what it once was. It's a given all Dominicans are 3 to 6 years older than what is stated, but not even his name. Crap.

I'm not completely sure. they played them all close except Portland...(OT loss at Indy...close losses at Lakers and Jazz and they were all on the road too, not sure who the others were...I think they'll win at least 3 of the next 11 :))

Roberto freakin Heredia, where's the fun in that name?? We need to put Julio Franco on the case. He was getting major league hits when he was 62 years old.

I do hope you're right however, I want lots more ping pong balls next off season...more good players in next year's draft.

That was the worst revelation, by far.

It is unforgivable....he must be bagged.

Pay no mind to the seal trainer....he non sequiturs again and again.

horseofcourse 01-20-2012 09:28 AM

So the Indians starting rotation now contains a guy named Roberto Heredia. Will his pitch count go down?? Will we find out Ubaldo Jimenez' actual name is Fausto Carmona??

In the end, man did what he had to do I guess. Also in the end, Exhausto had one great year, one good year and stunk his other 4 years so far with the Cleveland Indians. Roberto Exhausto Fausto Heredia Carmona. Who cares. I hope he is good this year as it's another one wearing the cleveland laundary. And if he stinks again, it'll be his last. We've just signed 37 other 17 year old Dominicans who are actually 21 and maybe 2 of them will become good. MLB is all it is. that's how business is done.

clyde 01-20-2012 01:17 PM

So true.

Though the name game does get confusing.

I'm very upset we can't use Exhausto anymore.

horseofcourse 01-20-2012 07:45 PM

Look at this guy we just traded for clyde....he makes Exhausto look like Bob Feller...

Slowey split last season between the Twins and Triple-A Rochester. He went 0-8 with a 6.67 ERA in the majors and spent time on the disabled list.

He made eight starts and six relief appearances, and the Twins went 0-14 in those games. According to STATS LLC, Slowey became the first major league pitcher to make at least eight starts and lose them all since Lou Sleater of the St. Louis Browns in 1951.

clyde 01-20-2012 08:01 PM

You know ,Mr. Coursey.....there comes a time when you cease making fun of a team's Front Awful---I mean Office.

Their moves become so .........out there...that they don't look real. One cannot poke fun at this anymore.

It's just too........awful.

They can't be serious, yet they are.

clyde 01-20-2012 08:03 PM

And they actually given up a player for him.

I wouldn't have given them Urns for him.

Not even Valbuena.

Unreal.

clyde 01-20-2012 08:11 PM

You do realize holding a fan contest to fill a pitching staff role could yield better?

I'm not kidding!

horseofcourse 01-20-2012 08:15 PM

It's like their goal was to seek out the worst pitcher in MLB last year, offer a body for him and things will be well. He was on the Rockies roster and we traded Zach Putnam, a minor league pitcher. He played for the Twins last year, so was basically the worst pitcher on the worst team in the league.

horseofcourse 01-20-2012 08:18 PM

To be fair Slowey's first 4 years he went 4-1, 12-11, 10-3 and 13-6. so maybe it is not so bad.

clyde 01-20-2012 08:23 PM

I tend to look at recent...''accomplishments".

The worst pitcher on the worst team is enough for me.

The Tribe seems to look for those types.

Because we have plenty of them.

horseofcourse 01-20-2012 08:26 PM

ON the bright side the Cavs losing to the Bulls by 30 in the 4th and they're playing without their superstar....so we're on a fast track back into the lottery!! Yea!!
