No, I won't really disagree. We really do have some bad choices... While I think that being active in an election is very important, I actually thought about not voting myself because I knew Ron Paul didn't stand a chance. But, from my view, I really think it is important to keep McCain out of office. If you wonder why I don't like McCain, all you have to do is watch him singing the "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" tune to the Beach Boys melody. I love peace. Not war, not destruction. Peace. And the fact that the potential future president of the US sung that makes me sick.

I found this stuff on various sites. Its really neat because
almost everything you read about him is so positive on

He has used this information medium to the max. One

A 1992 newsletter by Republican congressional candidate Ron Paul highlighted portrayals of blacks as criminally inclined and lacking sense about top political issues.
Reporting on gang crime in Los Angeles, Paul commented: "If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be."
Paul, a Surfside obstetrician who won the GOP nomination in the 14th District runoff by defeating incumbent Rep. Greg Laughlin, said Wednesday he opposed racism.
He said his written commentaries about blacks came in the context of "current events and statistical reports of the time."

A 1992 political newsletter by former Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, included portrayals of African-Americans as inclined toward crime and lacking sense about political issues, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday. Paul, a former Libertarian Party presidential candidate who defeated Democratic-turned-Republican Rep. Greg Laughlin in the March primary, in November will face Democratic attorney Charles (Lefty) Morris, whose campaign is distributing Paul's writings. Under the headline "Terrorist Update," Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and wrote, "If you have ever been robbed by a black teenaged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be." About blacks in Washington, D.C., Paul wrote, "I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal." Paul said Wednesday that his comments came in the context of "current events and statistical reports of the time," and that he opposes racism.
The Houston Chronicle story linked above contains quotes from a newsletter Mr. Paul put out in the 1980s and 1990s. It includes quotes referring to blacks as crime-prone and "fleet-footed."
Mr. Paul also wrote that "By far the most powerful lobby in Washington of the bad sort is the Israeli government" and that the goal of the Zionist movement is to stifle criticism.

"Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,' I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal." - Ron Paul, 1992

"We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such." - Ron Paul, 1992

Sorry I mistook pickpocket for fleet-footed blacks.
I knew it was something like that but I could not recall.
And my acquaintance hated Jews so this fit as well.
There is much more. Seek. Damn I wish I had kept
those xeroxed copies I would sent them to you Kentucky.
I am not kidding when I say I have been following this
guy for a long time. Because I could not believe someone
like this could be elected back when I was your age.

his backtracking and crawfishing reminds me of huckabee when his 'banish aids victims to the farthest corner' remarks came back to haunt him. perhaps they should join forces, one could be the others running mate. not that it would really help either one. neither has a shot in hell-thankfully.

They're ignoring me.

I hate that.

Perhaps a large explosive device.

His face is next to the word 'snotty' in the dictionary.

I couldn't care a less what other countries do. I am only concerned about my country, and you cannot argue with the FACT that Benazir Bhutto said that on England's television.

What, and you don't think they're lying to us? Where have you been? Hello, Iraq war... the study that was just all over the news that said that the Bush administration had lied to the people 935 times.

When multiple other countries say it and question it, yes. I think any one is a fool to be so close-minded about these things. All you have to do is read our foreign policy document. And I will not argue with you until you read it and understand its implications.

Just for the record, I don't think that lie about everything. I just think it is very corrupt and that they are lying to us. Am I so wrong to question what our government is doing? Didn't you just say in a few posts back or in a different thread that our government was corrupt as well?

Our government might be corrupt, but for you to discount the idea that maybe... just MAYBE other governments might be corrupt as well is ludicrous. You can't believe everything you see on TV.

Of course I don't believe everything I see on TV, and I do acknowledge the fact that other governments are corrupt. Some are a lot more corrupt than ours. I'm just saying that our government is corrupt and they do lie to us quite a bit.

As for you thinking that DaHoss was in the wrong for saying that I was brainwashed, well, I expect more of you.

I'll PM you. I want to talk to you about something. SO please hold off on further bashing until I talk to you.

I'm not bashing anyone. DaHoss said nothing snotty to me, so why I hold anything against him on this thread? Because he has a different opinion than I do? You're a grown woman and you can handle yourself. You don't need my protection.
