There is room for EVERYONE - we'll shift 'em in and out - and during the race ALL will be there!

On the apron, front of the grandstand.....

Going to try to dip out of work and head to the racebook at the Mohegan Sun Casino. If that's not possible, I will be on winticket.com.

Good luck to everyone today, can't wait to see our girl run. Let's just hope she puts in a good effort and comes back well.

SniperSB23 04-11-2007 01:12 PM

Well I've been staying away from here this past week to avoid getting too excited (which has worked) but now after getting hit with everything at once I can't even sit still. I can't wait for 2:45!

Dunbar 04-11-2007 01:40 PM

Good luck to Sumwon and DeeTee Stables! Simply amazing to have gone from concept to partnership to Keenland in such short time. I'll be watching on YouBet and pulling for you.

Good luck all in the DT Stable. I'll be watching, wagering and rooting hard on Youbet.

9th out of 9. I didn't have the highest expectations, but I was still willing to place wagers on our gal.

Very disappointing. Anxious to hear what Chuck and Steve and those who saw her up close and personal at Keeneland have to say.

Better luck next time, Sumwonlovesyou. I still love you.

Thats ok.. WE got them right were we want them..... Bombs Away Next race !!!!!!!!!! As long as the girl is safe & sound, she needed a good race in her .

horseofcourse 04-11-2007 03:42 PM

She did fine...after all, our girl only had a career high Beyer of 56 coming into this one!! I thought it was a credible effort and after watching the replay... just appeared to tire late. It was worth a shot to try this type competition. There were some nice horses in this one.

Danzig 04-11-2007 03:45 PM

hey, she's the cake, a board finish or win would be the icing on the cake, but we still have lots of cake!!

no doubt plenty of pictures taken, can't wait to see them--with the jock in the dee tee silks....a thrilling day, just wish i'd have been there. maybe next time!!

It was the thrill of a lifetime for me watching her walk in the paddock, balk loading into the gate in the DeeTee silks!!...unfortunately I lost my live Keeneland feed right before the race and didn't pick it up til the race was already finished. (She did look nice jogging back as they did show part of that as she caught up to Christie's Treasure!) But it was nice watching the entire race and her on calracing later as I caught the replay. Thanks to Steve and Chuck again for giving us that...looked like she came out of the race fine as well, and she'll live to run another day!!

Posted this on the "Sumwon Live" thread but thought I'd add it hear as well..

Back from dinner with Chuck and Paula (wife).. What a long, fun day..!

Hope all enjoyed this first experience as the Dee Tee Partners, and everyone here really, participated in what I believe was a tremendous accomplishment. In her first start in ALW company; her first start on grass; and first start in 90 days, Sumwon was as over-her-head as thought, and perhaps short for the 8.5 journey.. No matter. Even with a last place effort, the pleasure in bringing together so many people who had never before been involved in horse ownership was overwhelming.

The objective of the Dee Tee Stable was to promote horse ownership and racetrack comraderie, and today was an undeniable success. At least 16 partners were in attendence at Keeneland, and I think they had a great time. And I can see that everyone that followed the day here, whether in DT or not, were equally excited. The kind words from everyone here is greatly appreciated, and I'm sure I speak for Chuck when I say that it's been our pleasure getting this undertaking off the ground. It's really those that inspired the concept and got involved that made it happen. And this was only the next step in the process.

Sumwon exited the race tired, indicating she needed more work yet, but scoped clean and snapped back well after cooling out. This race will do a lot for her fitness, and as mentioned earlier in the thread, will likely run back on Sunday, April 29, Opening Day at Churchill. in a 1 mile (dirt) $50,000 claimer.

More from Chuck later I'm sure.. and from me as well. Back in Florida tomorrow and will catch up soon as I can.

Thanks to all Derby Trailers for making this a wonderful day...

Thanks again Steve for everything!

It was a great day indeed. The experience of seeing "sumwon" saddled and running in a race at KEE was unbelievable for me. I hope all the partners were as pumped as I was. We knew she was in tough, but I'm very happy she came back good. It was bad luck to draw into the flight with Christies Treasure. The other flight (7th race) went the 8.5 fur. a full 4 seconds slower than "sumwon's" race. I'm sure the slower fractions would have helped "sumwon" have a little more gas in the tank down the stretch. Hopefully she gets in at CD on the 29th and we can have all this fun over again. Thx to Steve, Chuck and all the crew
