In a case of brutally bad timing, my house net service has stalled. I'm using the Blackberry now and won't be able to keep up with the tremendously amusing reparte (nee skewering of me...)

Its special to have The Thebber here at her dazzling best thougjh!

That's akin to John McCain suggesting he meant to appoint Michael Palin....not Sarah.

I should play around on this site more often. I feel like I'm missing a lot of inside stuff. Is this what you guys do all night? Sit around, bag on one another, and talk pop culture and horses? What a magical world you've created...

That's not sarcasm, either. There's a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.

Byk deserves all the credit.

The supposedly clever responses could have been made in one's sleep. It was the prior idiocy that wove the quilt of stupidity that elevated this thread above the usual drivel.

Been a long day. I listened to more useless drivel today about new golf clubs hitting the market, than I care to hear for the next 5 years. My brain is clearly in shut down mode.

Now, back to the ATR Soundtrack discussion...

It's American Bandstand with Dick Clark featuring Rate-A-Record. Just rate these two records from 35 to 98:

Duane Eddy, "Rebel Rouser" and Parliment/Funkadelic, "One Nation Under a Groove"

And for those don't know it -- Ryan Seacrest ain't no Dick Clark!

Steve,

You and I share similar libraries of music tastes. I know you and I have talked about Noah and the Whale ota one time when I called.

You also have played "Clean" by Depeche Mode - used on USA's "The Cleaner" now too....Of course, "Precious" is good too.

You might want to check out a song by the "The Last Shadow Puppets" called, "The Age of the Understatement".
