Steve,

That was a good one. I was actually being serious though...lol

Heading to Opening Day Polytrack extravaganza at Keeneland. Did you see all the Jockeys lined up to ride that day?

Apparently he's been reduced to being the workmate for the Green Monkey.

I met a guy the other day at my barn that breeds in Ocala and he says he's got a mare that's in foal to Red Bullet... he wants to name the foal, The Red Monkey for ****s and grins. LOL

Cause to Believe is my "forgotten 3 year old". I've loved this horse since his debut at 2! he is again posting regular works, so I think he may be close to a return...

He looked the part, but he could never finish. Hey, it also happened to me in '03 with Master David. My Golden Song and Master David have to be my top two bust that I gave out with plenty of confidence. I had a get out of jail free card because I was also very high on Monarchos in '01 and he made me look like a genius in that Derby, if only Congree would of hold off Invisible Ink for 2nd.

Lol, I hate thinking back to old Derbies. I liked freakin Buddy Gil & Brancusi in 03 and loved Borrego in 04. But good ole, Master David. I think he's something like 2 for 26 now and is in claiming ranks.

Master David never won another race after the Sham Stakes in 2004. He has not run in claiming races and was recently retired....though there is some talk he may return.

I for one can't wait.

Poor little dude!!! Well, I guess 999 out of 1000 stallions don't need to be so.... Maybe this means we'll get to see him around longer?

BTW, my bad. Your right. He's been in allowance conditions since April 05, was transferred from Frankel to Barbara (also sold privately to Peter Minikes) and last ran on 6/17 - last of 6th beaten 30 1/2 lengths. Current career record of 24-2-5-6-331k. Hadnt heard he was retired, but it wouldnt surprise me....

Yes, but the ownership changed in the form from Georgica Stable to just Pete's name. I'm assuming that means that he bought out his partners (one of which was his dad I think) or something. He ran under the Georgica name for his first 23 starts but just Pete's in the last one.

Hadn't he disgraced the good name of Georgica long enough?

Nothing could drag Pete's name down any further. Well, that's not entirely true....I could drag him here.
