I think Willie is a really good gate rider. He should be able to make the best of it. Hopefully Churchill hasn't changed too much since the BC

Thanks again Chuck.

I haven't looked at the PPs, who are the favorites? Bellafina & Fast Actress? They are carrying the most weight for some reason. I doubt 3 lbs will make a difference.

the forecast looks really good. Sunny with a low of 54 and high of 76

The Moon (at apogee) shines below Spica this evening. Far to their upper left is brighter Arcturus, sometimes called the "spring star."

If she'll rate, she has a shot at a great trip, and grabs a good Churchill jock, which is a positive. Lots of nonsense speed in the race so she might be able to sit the trip....good luck everyone

Guys I wish you All the luck in the world BUT From an outside point of view to many of you are handicapping with your hearts and not your heads. Kind of looks like to me you are going Elephant hunting with a BB Gun.

Did you look at this field? It is well below par for a $50K claimer. I was expecting to look at a field where she'd be more outclassed than she was last out. Instead I found a field full of off the pace horses that don't seem to particularly like dirt. She could easily get loose on the lead and make a very nice showing. I certainly won't be recommending betting her to anyone but I went from just hoping this morning that she'd crack the top five to get Chuck a paycheck and set her up for her next race to thinking that she has a legitimate shot of running top two.

Ok...let's see you're EXPERT advice and graded selections in this race

I'd be interested in his "expert" input as well, so do share.

Take a chance and you'll soon see the far-reaching potential of this opportunity. A touch nervous about taking this leap is understandable, but the sense of achievement will put your doubts to rest.

To DREAM is to reach for the STARS if we didnt dream would we achieve anything today ?

Racing is built on a Dream if we didnt believe then what is the use of existence ?

It is easy to "put down" what looks impossible it is alot harder to pick up the ball & run

In plain English
"racing is a damn hard field to go into as my mentor said get used to the downs cause there's more downs than up's in racing but in saying that all the downs are what makes the ups that much more enjoyable "

I didn't see the horses that don't like the dirt part (perhaps I should look again)...but I can envision a scenario where she gets on the lead and runs away with it. Especially with her fitness being better now than it was in the last race....and given her track record of doing exactly that, I won't be surprised to see her getting some play at the window. What's the morning line on her? I haven't looked...

I'm not seeing where she'd get an easy lead here...looks to me like the number 5 horse Tylan has had the lead early in 4 of her last 5 races on polytrack with some ok fractions at times with consistent Beyers in the 60s which is well above what Sumwon has done. But I agree, if she shows significant improvement off her last which is likely she could be in the mix here.

Jazil could probably have the early lead on polytrack if he wanted. My brisnet PPs are at home but I'm pretty sure the 5 horse's pace figures were much lower than Sumwon's. If Sumwon were outside she might have to work to get on top but from the inside with a good break she shouldn't have a problem breaking on top. Then I guess it is up to Willie to judge the pace and see if he should let the pressers pass her or if they are going to let her waltz on the front.

Early pace figs are faster for Sumwon... with the inside post, barring any break issues, she should get the lead. 5 will have to stay outside I think.
