Default Sumwonlovesyou in 2nd Race 4/29

Sumwonlovesyou is #1 of 6 in the 2nd Race at Churchill Downs on Sunday, 4/29/07. The rider is Willie Martinez.

With her being on the rail, will he have to gun her to the lead?

Cool, hopefully she gets ignored on the lead and stuns the world.

I would imagine that with such a small field, the situation does not dictate that she must go to the lead.

But I don't know how comfortable she would be with horses bearing down on her.

I wish it were a larger field, so she would be at higher odds. But I guess she has a better chance with a small field.

Amen to that.

But we can always dream about her winning at astronomical odds, with us knowing how good she is.

We can all dream of that big odds score on one of our horses, but as an owner, you will learn to LOVE short fields.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. As if you couldn't tell, I'm a newbie.

Just looked this one over with the brisnet PPs and I must say I am feeling really good about this spot. No one else has as much early speed as she does and no one else looks particularly good on the dirt except possibly the 6 horse. I think we've actually got a solid shot here!
