Default Calm Before the Storm

well,
at this point Im guessing most simply do not care.
but Im going to keep giving it attention anyway.
much like with the thoroughbreds,
its a quite weekend at Los Al this weekend.
a couple of small stakes.
but next Friday, Nov 3, is the Los Alamitos Super Derby.
then on Nov 4 there is Golden State Million Futurity,
the 2nd leg of their 2YO Los Al triple crown.
over $2M in purse money btwn those 2 races.
say what you want about the quarters, but the money at Los Al is real.
they have huge purses and guaranteed pick 4s.
its a legitimate track and wagering alternative at night.

no,
I really only play Los Al quarters.

do you play Lone Star?
Id like to learn more about Lone Star quarters.
i really have only been back in TX a few months and never really played Lone Star quarters.
I just learned quarters through watching TVG's coverage of Los Al and TRYING to handicap them.
I suck, but Im trying to learn more about the sport of quarterhorse racing.

That is my home track so I usually play that the most. The track was playing really strange on Friday night and I did not fair well at all....
