The Rays have done well filling in the gaps. Should be another exciting year in St. Pete. I don't think Milton and Lou make it out of Spring Training without a dust up.

I'm pretty sure the Phils, last year, offered Pat the Bat $22 mil for 2 years. Definitely a bargain price for the Rays if that was true.

It's kinda sad to see the guy go. He has one of the best eyes in the game when he's in the box. He watches some pitches that mostly everyone else would swing away at.

Thanks for all the GREAT memories, Pat.

RBE...Burrell has a dog named Elvis and his wife is a SMOKEBOMB, so give him a chance. He should do well for you guys. Its a shame you dont play the Mets regularly, he KILLS them. Just dont expect any legged out singles.

Bradley will be o.k. as long as the Cubs do well. If (for some reason) they struggle, then look out. He is a clutch playoff performer. He was about the only one of the A's who hit well against the Tigers in the 2006 A.L.S. It's a bit high for a guy who gets as hurt as he does(3 to 5 mil/year too high.) Will surprise nobody if he hurts himself chasing down a ball on opening day. 10 mil is too high, but they need this exact player very badly. He is a great competitor. Soriano is a puss that needs special food etc. Bradley is gunna need all season to get that guy to man up in the post.
