Default Tiger Playing in Masters

Tiger officially announced that he is playing in the Masters. That is not a big surprise considering that he was seen practicing at Augusta earlier this week. As horrific as his last few competitive rounds have been, I don't think anyone is expecting much. But I still think everyone is happy that he's going to be there. I would say the chances of him making the cut are probably less than 50%.

If he makes the cut, it wouldn't surprise me. If he misses the cut, it wouldn't surprise me.
Augusta is wide open if he drives it well, but if he doesn't the questionable state of his short game will be under the white hot glare of every camera and announcer on premise.
Anyway, I'm glad he's giving it a go. And I wish him the best.

For all practical purposes, Tiger is golf....love him or hate him, he's who folks want to see. I wish him the best.

I agree, making the cut would be a huge accomplishment.

When he turns 50 he may have a shot playing on Saturdays and Sundays.

I wonder if he will join the senior tour when he turns 50? That I believe is far from certain.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...fPB8A/htmlview

$50 a man / $660 to best duo & $540 to winning golfer

Reed got scooped up right before I picked, but I love that I managed Blixt on the way back ( now he'll blow up tomorrow and post high # ) !

I was really impressed with his play last year, shooting four rounds under par in his first trip to Augusta. He should relish the bentgrass greens again lol

Who's everybody got?!?

I'm rooting for Bryon Meth just because I hope his wife's name is Crystal.

Tom Watson shoots first round 1 under. Must be the name Tom with respect to stellar golf. I think 3kings would agree.

Now that's funny.
I know some PGA pro's with similar not so good names. Yip, Shank, and Hook come to mind.

Enjoy the Masters!!!

Was hoping for some exciting golf this weekend. Doesn't look like it now. It is now by how much Spieth wins by. Good for him as he comes across as a real likeable kid.

I'd hold that thought. Sunday alone is good for a 6 stroke swing and we haven't had Saturday or some weather.

So play on Dustin. Phil. Jason Gay.

There's my three.

Agreed. Far from over. As much as I like Speith, I'll wait until the last 4 holes Sunday afternoon.
No lead is safe there...............
