Palace Malice WILL return in '15!
DRF's Nicole Russo: Multiple Grade 1 winner Palace Malice will return to training for 2015, co-owners Dogwood Stable and Three Chimneys have announced. The colt's retirement due to bone bruising was originally announced in September; however, X-rays and ultrasounds taken yesterday in Lexington have deemed him racing sound for another campaign. Palace Malice left Lexington, Ky., on Friday morning bound for Dogwood's training base in Aiken, S.C., where he will spend 60 to 90 days before re-joining trainer Todd Pletcher in Florida. Anyone really think a TAP will make a complete recovery and return a horse to his elite form? Not really a big strength of his is it?
