GREATNESS!!! My wife and I saw him at the Kentucky Horse Park when John Henry was there. We had an inside connection and got to see him up close and personal. My wife fed him peppermints. Goose Bump city!!!

For a about 6 months I helped take care of John Henry, Forego, Bold Forbes....a few others. It was very cool, Forego was a gentle giant and John Henry was full of personality and by far the smartest horse I had been around.

I wonder how they came up with the name Cigar

Awesome PPs! Amazing how he ran 10 times in 1995, nearly once a month and won every single one of them. 8 Grade 1 wins just in that year alone in multiple tracks!

Now we are lucky to see a high caliber horse race even 3 times a year. If he wins 2 of them then he is automatically a candidate for HOY.
