RIP Bart Starr. His name always sounded awesome in a Boston Accent.

Who could forget the "Ice Bowl" played by The Packers and the Cowboys at Greenbay. Supposedly, one of the coldest football games ever played. I saw it on TV, but couldn't remember all the details. Read about it a little while ago. Packers had some kind of tarp or blanket like thing that was supposed to keep the field from freezing, but moisture got under it and froze the ground. Players said the ground was like concrete. Starr was the hero of that game. As I recall he sneaked for a TD with seconds left in the game and won it. Seems like people like him should be immortal and I guess in a way they are in fable and film.
