Never thought this fellow would get anywhere near a track again. Still has a long way to go, but its good to see him working out again.

Hes being trained by the farm manager. Lets just say I think the decision to allow him to be trained by the farm manager will rank right up there with New Coke in terms of success.

Cajun I LOVE this horse. But the decision to not have Zito train him this year and to have him be trained by the farm manager stinks.

I don't know all the details behind that, so I can't say anything... but, it would be nice to see B-Road win some more races. I don't think people were very fair to him considering he was injured in the derby and still finished 7th.

Typical move by Steinbrenner. He probably would have given the horse to Billy Martin to train if Martin were still alive.

Since Thoroughbred Fan agrees with me, I'm gonna say I may have goofed and this could be a master stroke of genius.

Steinbrenner still give horses to Zito, so obviously he still has confidence in him. Hemingway's Key is one of his. I think it was smart taking him away from Zito. He is obviously Steinbrenners best horse he has ever had and Zito will be concentrating on his 2yr olds all summer/fall. From what I can tell Steinbrenner is at best Zito's #3 owner. The boss likes to be #1.

The fact is his children really run his horse operation and they chose one of their own.
