Default World Equestrian Games?

Soooo I have to go to Gulf News to hear about this?

http://gulfnews.com/sport/horse-raci...-race-1.687477

If anyone wants to tell me a little about it that would be great.

Had no idea anything like this existed here.

I have a thread about it on the other forum, but it's mostly about the eventing and Freestyle Dressage.

Default WEG highlight reels

I can't find a full video of the opening ceremonies (televised here locally on Channel 18 Lexington, 2 hrs worth) but here's the FEI WEG video site:

I just rode a reiner at the aqha demonstration ring. It was awesome- you send the horse at a full gallop then 20 feet from the fence just give him a little tug and a whoa and he does the slide stop. Best feeling I've ever had on a horse!

I have a nice 8yr old reining gelding for sale. You can do this everyday on him. Reining is great, but Working cow is where it is at. You get the reining pattern and then go run as hard as you can and turn a cow down the fence. Nothing better. Here is a friend of mine riding him brideless:

I started riding horses about 6 yrs ago because my wife had horses and got to ride a reiner. I now show reining and working cow horses and ride more than she does. It is an adrenaline rush, especially the cows.

Wow, I just read that the woman who won the endurance event (100 miles) gave birth 7 weeks ago.
