Anyone have any thoughts on whether the race being one turn helps or hurts Tiz the Law? Obviously he is just fine around one turn...but the racing being one turn possibly benefits other horses more than it benefits him? I知 not sure. Would love to hear some of your thoughts.

Well let痴 see about that but the odds are tasty. I need to look at pps once they come out. It seems to be a race with limited pace based upon history of some of these. This race could fit this horse style and has a win over the track although much shorter. Could take them a long way.

So you’re saying no way I’ll get 6-1, since I like him, because everyone will bet on him dropping the odds way down......right ?

I知 saying you have the worst opinion on the internet. The only reason you like this horse is because he demolished the horse you gushed about for days.

I知 just glad you gave him out. I liked him. He has no chance now. Saved me money.

You池e right about the lack of pace, although you壇 have to think Tap It To Win is at least as fast and drawing the rail kind of forces his hand. He will be a price.

I don稚 think it matters at all. There is a such a long backstretch run, the only horse who might be impacted at all is Tap It to Win, because of where he drew.

I here I am thinking it was only the worst opinion on this board, not the whole internet.

I didn稚 realize I was competing for winners on the board with you. My bad. I was too busy actually betting real money.

You池e the best at posting fake bets on here. Happy?

Is Silver Prospector off the Derby Trail? I thought he had 21 points.

There's a line through him on the Churchill Media master list.

Gouverneur Morris has colitis that will sideline him for a couple of months.

Looking through the final odds for the Oaks and is it just me or a little crazy that Speech was 10/1 and Swiss Skydiver 9/2 while Gamine was 2/1? I know Gamine ran an incredible race last time out but it was around one turn...and I think those other two are fairly close to her going around two turns.

I知 sure I値l be wrong and she値l win the Kentucky Oaks by 10 lengths but I hope they stay at 2 and 5 times the odds as Gamine because they値l be pretty solid value.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd half of your last sentence contradicts the first half!

What struck me about this round of Future Wagers is how small the pools were. For the Oaks, just $35K in the win pool and $20K in the exacta pool! For the Derby, just $126K in the win pool and $65K in the exacta pool. Compare that to Derby Pool 2 which had $440K in the win pool and $151K in the exacta pool.

I would've thought that with so little sports to bet on, maybe the future wager would have attracted some attention. Nope.
